Okey, thanks for the answer, but like I wrote, we change tha map so its harder to get in middle.

But I wonder one other thing now hehe.

At first week. And we say Im Sylvan

What is best to buy here?

I know that Treant is a must, so you can have your shooter behind it. But what should you not build frome this

To get to level 9, should you build upgrade archers or Blade dancers?

Then at Level 9
City Hall? (becouse you going for the treachary and go for gold instead of Exp
Citadel?
Unicorn Glade?

Becouse Druids is to good to not buy in the start so that and Treant I dont put in here.
And also, I go for the mines that I need to build this also, its just what building should you not choose?

I know wich units that are best and so one

So on map like Former Friends, are it better to build upgrade units that are good? Or try to get all units buildings?

Treants suck, building before week 4+ is usually a bad plan. What you want is to have units up to unicorns, dragons, castle and capitol on last day of week 2. Not always possible but certainly impossible with treants. Of which you don't need too many in final battle anyway.

Dancers are not even useful in creeping, I only buy sprites, druids and arcane archers, then I also buy dragons week 3. I suppose wind dancers may help you vs ranged units but I usually don't want to spend wood on their upgrade.

Also do yourself a favour and don't play former friends Toh has so many lovely maps, plenty of suggestions in the masterpost.

Btw these questions are better suited to a faction guide, this thread is for minor questions.

I think Treant are good in Former friends on first week. If you not get shooter or spells units against you. Becouse then you can let your Treant get all the damage when you shoot the enemy down. Have forget if I ever got dragon week 2, will play tomorrow and look. But with Treant I can get out in the middle or underground, but now when we have change it I cant get out in the middle.


I know, I want to play others maps but my friends dont want to. Becouse of that you get all the mines next to you. But do you know a map that have mines next to it also then please give me that name and I will show my friends hehe. Im kind of tired of Former Friends

It doesn't. Creeping is dealing with neutrals as fast with as few losses as possible.

Er, just wanna ask you people what are the longer maps for play? Even though I can quite easily win AI in most  cases [I'm nt gd, read: can't handle heroic], I don't really like bits of small clashes here and there early on, coz most of the time I play inferno and it totally rocks to save up for a few late battles and completely decimate them.

So, yeah... what are some maps [fan-made in particular] you all recommend for turtle-ing 3-4 months++ games??

Don't remember the specific one, it should have instructions no? Normally mods are placed in the mod folder of the game directory or something like that.

I don't think any of those maps in the masterpost are 4 month games?  I found battlezone way too busy especially for only 2 players.

When Im playing mutli with friends, I have big problem on what skill I should use on the race im playing

Our games we choose always random so you dont know what the other team are. We just to play small maps but going for large now

But if they are mage, they go for destructive or/and dark

I have look at many of the strategy on different race and every race have different skills

So if someone is a angel and can explain what race should have what skill.

This is what I think you should start with atleast on different race but becouse im a noob I dont know if im right or wrong
And is Divine Guidance any good

Haven:
Light - I like the Guardian Angel
Dark - It depends what they are playing but Seal of darkness is kind of good then, is Shrug darkness something you should go for?
Enlightenment - Intelligence
Leadership - Empathy
Attack - Retribution and Power of speed if going for Guardian Angel

Inferno: (going luck and leadership for the gate units)
Luck - Swarming gate
Leadership - Empathy (for the boost of all units you will have)
Enlightenment - To get Empathy and intelligence
Destructive - Searing Fires
The fith I dont know but Sorc becouse going for destructive. But maybie Dark is bether in long games?

Stronghold: (I like to get all the boost on rage)
Leadership - Battle elation
Attack - Retribution and tactic
Shout - Mighty shout, it is if you go for distract or shout of rage
Enlightenment - Is bloodfire any good? Dont know what to choose here
Defens, luck or the spell skill you think your friend have

Necromancer:
Dark -
Summing -
Enlightenment - Intelligence
Dont know what more you should have or if you should only go for one magic skill

Sylvian: (im noob if Rain of arrows work for some skill)
Destructive - (what you get in your mage guild)
Luck - Elven luck or if Warlocks luck work on Rain of arrows
Sorcery - If it works on rain of arrows becouse you gona use that
Dont know what more is good for them if you should go attack or Defend or another skill

Fortress:
Defend - Defensive formation
Attack - Retribution
Leadership - Empahty
Enlightenment -
Light -

Dungeon:
Destructive -
Enlightenment - Intelligence
Sorcery -
Dont know what you should have more

Academy:
Enlightenment -
Dont know what spell skill and what other skill you should take

Check your tavern and you'll know what they have. When you learn what you are up against please use one of the faction strategy threads, they are all archived in the table of contents sticky.

You don't expect someone will actually reply to all those threads, do you?

Div Guidance surely is a great option for a Knight who runs out of mana fast and his only alternative is whacking with melee attacks. Other than that - try it for yourself

Its about two spells, Righteous might and Divine Strength

We say you can cast mass on both, should you cast rigtheous first then Divine? Or is it worth to cast both or should you only go for Righteous?

RM is usually better so I'd prefer it, of course you can have numerous buffs on you.

O nice, sorry for all the Question but its one more I wonder about. I have reed the fan manual and still I dont understand how Soldiers luck work.

25% + 3+ * (totalhp/totaltargethp)

So we say you have 20 Concript
Is it 20*6 then?

And you attacking say 2 Marksman
2*10

The total will be 6 then. So it is 25% + 18%?

And also, does boost from skill and artifact help in with Hp? Like Vitality?
