You must have missed the videos then. Wyverns are upgraded into foul wyverns and paokais(lightning breath, consume corpse) while cyclopses to bloodeye cyclopses(laser) and untamed ones that are melee.
Btw a guy at the ubi forum thought something interesting. Since vampirism gives to units undead status they are probably permanently raised with raise dead too. That should help academy but probably not as much the knights.

ohh...my bad then. I just never played homm5..only from pictures i know this game so my interest in this game is low...that's why i missed the video...can u give me a link to this movie?plz

Dark magic was always theoretically defensive and light offensive. But damn its nice to finally have a good damage light spell. Teleport + Fat lazy peasents=

I have an Idea to the Orc skill system (or a guess): Lets try with Dark magic:
Basic Dark Magic = 5% chance to resist a lvl 1 or 2 dark magic spell
Advanced Dark Magic = 10% chance to resist a lvl 1 or 2 Dark magic spell
Expert Dark Magic = 15% chance to resist a lvl 1, 2 or 3 Dark magic Spell
Then with: Master of Curses, Pain and mind - they give a chance to resist those kind of spells . Then there will be abilities like supress dark magic, shrug of darkness and maybe a new debuff ?
I just think that would be a good idea for the orcs to use the other - And well we do know they can pick them and they will work different , so do you think they would work like this?

Insert Shatter before "pick one school" magic and you've got their secondary skills. They might work exactly that way  , but those percentages would be to weak, simple "magic resistance" from luck tree is better than expert in all 4 school shattering
15% for expert "shatter dark magic" would be too weak even if it worked vs all 5 levels.
We will see soon how it really works tho. Hope they did it right.

if the orc's (hero) spellpower decreases by the same amount the oponent's spellpower than I hope orcs have very low spellpower otherwise they are a magic hero killer.

Read ... he said he had an idea about their skill SYSTEM not about their shatter magic skills. I acutally think that it is a very good idea 15% resistance+ lets say extra 10% against slow/confusion trough Master of Mind+ 15% with resistance = 40% magic resistance vs. slow/confusion or 30% vs. dark magic spells up to lvl 3 PLUS the sp-reduction skill at the other stuff they have... now personally I don't think that it will be this way but it's not an bad idea.
Btw. PhenixReborn ok when you drive an audio book may be an good idea but I doubt that Daystar spends much time driving...he doesn't even have a licence! Besides if you have time to read the book instead of actually listening to it you should most definetly do it as I said reading >>>>>>>> audio book sooooooo much!imo...

I have read the book, and it is possibly one of the best in the series. She pretty much had me sold with the riding on a dragon part. I just want the Audio book to complete my collection, and so I have something to listen to.

The suggestion for Dark Magic sounds good, but I think it would be better another way:
Resist Nature: (Earth, Air, Water, Ice Damage) (Basic - Expert)
Resist Fire: (Light, Lightning, Fire Damage) (Basic - Expert)
Resist Shadow: (Resist dark magic) (Basic - Expert)
Resist Arcane: (Everything Else) (Basic - Expert)

I was wondering..
What would ultimate blood rage do? The blood rage skill is only archieving the 1th, 2nd or 3rd level of blood rage... When you got Pedant of Mastery, you will be able to get ultimate blood rage.. Will there be a secret 4th lvl? Or a bonus to get the lvl's easier?

I remember asking the same question somewhere and the conclusion we got to was that it will have some supportive effect. For example, the blood gauge fills faster or all the units start with lvl 1 blood rage.
Besides, Fortress and Academy already have such supportive Ultimate skills.
