Nival said in a Question - Answer session, where a guy asked: Will there be Nagas in next expansion. The guy from Nival said they were killed (and it should stand in the storyline some where)

It seems that killed here is not destroyed, but they place orc instead of the naga, and they want to place naga on heroes 6 (most likely).

Today on TV: "Heroes V looks like Warcraft 3, part 478529402".
In our brand new episode, we will analyze the similiarity in between the warcraft3 naga problem (they introduced some naga units and ultimately refused to make them a playable race, which upset the fans and was a reason for constant requests for nagas) and heroesV naga problem (they did some "naga temple" object and put a lot of info here and there just to abandon the naga ideas, which upset the fans and is a reason for constant requests for nagas.)

I would expect Medusa, Wyvern, Basilisk and Naga to be on the 3rd expansion, but since there is no 3rd expansion...
Harpy and Werewolf might be neutral creatures.
Spider sounds a bit boring. Mabey kind of giantic Spider.
And what is Mimic?

yeah, i was hoping that naga will come in the next expansion, bah, it is orc that come to the next expansion, instead of the naga. That's why alt upg system is the only features that interest me the most, i don't care about orcs.

Pity... What would happen to Karthal!!
I was hoping so much for a lizard race with Medusas,Basiliks and Nagas as tier 7.But I guess that Nival thought that all these lyzards would just look like surface dark elfs or smth... Real Pity
Still am happy 'bout Orcs and their Horde.

Baaah, there is a reason we didn't get nagas ! They have no reason to have a whole town. And the story tells more about the Orcs then Nagas... And long live the orcs!
The things i most want for the next expainsion is: More maps, more heroes! To little maps now, i dont like playing the same over and over again! To little heroes, some suck some doestnt! You always choose the same, i want to have a hard time choosing!

Oh my, all of you want nagas! I agree - new unit would be nice, but not whole faction
My wish for addon is more spells. There only ~40, when in H4 two magic schools had this...
And stop nerf Haven. You all know, I am haven player, but I think all patches nerfed it enough.

Wishes: Watch allies' battles, much more neutrals, reduce random start ATB factor to 0.05 MAX and ONLY for the attacker, LINEAR spellpower formula for creatures, a better AI

I don't mind being able to watch allies battles as long as it is only an option to turn on. Otherwise it's going to create very serious problems for multi.
Edit: just clicked that it's ALLIES you're talking about - duh. Well I see no probs with that.

I agree. What would be cool is if Allies are in the area (a day's walk or less) from another allie's battle, they could cast spells (very infrequently) and the closer they are, the more frequently and more powerful spells they cast.

I'm glad it is Orcs. I also agree Naga shouldn't have a whole town. Doesn't make sense to me. Orcs have been around historically much longer than something like a Naga.
It would be great to have a couple Naga neutral creatures though.
I think it would be really cool to have a Gnome faction (cousin to the dwarves). They would be high tech, having flying machines, mechanical things, etc. A lot of people probably wouldn't like that though...

One MAJOR change I'd like to see in the new version, is balancing of Duel mode. Karli is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. I've tried every single combination against even the computer's HORRIBLE actions, and still loose most. Normally the computer is pathetic. Even with it's terrible actions it can win.
Take a look at the computer vs the computer in Duel (Karli vs Galib). It was an absolute joke. I think an 8 year old could play better. My next post will be about what I think needs balancing. Here is the ridiculous screenshot though:

I don't think balancing the duel Heroes will be Nival's concern because they will give us the duel preset editor
