Academy already didn't have dragons...

I think he is happy because there were a lot of dragons in game, including Fortress, and now in ToH there will be even one more race without dragons. He didn't mention there are dragons in each castle

They could have done Behemots as Cyclops alternative

Hmm maybe behemoth may be the name of one of the cyclops upgrades? I wouldnt mind seeing an one eyed behemoth...or maybe for biiological evolutions sake and the sake of the previous behemoths, they may have added 2 eyes. Who knows it turns out to be.

I like the orc faction quite alot The behemoth, harpies and our beloved rocs and thunderbirds may not appear in H5 but hopefully H6

And Im very glad the centaurs, wyverns got into the lineup! They looks great. Though Im more used to the standard centaurs, with mane and hairy horse tail, but since these guys are with demon blood i see the centaurs link to the hell charger/nightmare/hellmare.

Why? I really liked it...

umm, behemots are more like guerillas than elephants

HAHAHA A perfect example of a totally misleading typo
You meant gorillas right? Not guerilla... Imagine a Che Guevara behemoth...

Well i liked a couple of units but thats not enough. I liked the wolf raider, thunderbird (although i don't get why it should be orange i imagine them as blue even tho yellow is color of lightning) and the thunderbird. The behemoths are preety useless [to buy] and in battle. I dont like orc magi and i dont rly like goblins. Go skeleton warriors!

This stronghold seems decent, although I probably have a few quirks.

Goblins: Basic cannonfodder for a stronghold, the slaves. Always pictured them like that.

I'm not sure about centaurs. I think H3 left a little nack in me that Centaurs belong in foresty areas (as did an old platform Hercules game), but it could fit, probably.

Orc warriors, could probably have pictured them more on level 4 or something as very solid melee troops, but we'll see how well they do on level 3.

Shamans.... Hmm, now I miss the ogres from H3. I wonder why they weren't included in a barbarian town, it suited it well. For an orc barbarian town it would have seemed more logical to me if the magic caster had been tier 3 and the warrior troop tier 4. But, w'll see.

Chieftains or whatever... No clue if they can cast or not.

Pao kai are obviously wyvern replacements. And for some reason such reptilian-like creatures don't seem very native to gruff areas like an orc town. I would have much preferred the rocs or thunderbirds. Seems to be the only flyer for this town, by the way.

Cyclops... No, definately no. Good points: Melee siege unit, seems to fit the town really well. But I wonder how the moat would affect its ability to smash walls, since it doesn't appear to throw stones. Academy holds dibs on level 7 shooters anyway. Yes, it would seem like a good solid melee troop for stronghold, but I would have much more preferred Behemoths with their awesome defence-bypassing special. Maybe cyclops have it, but I don't know. Behemoths just ruled.

Cyclopsies are cool but not as cool as Behemoths. And a barbarian town really needs a superb cool heavy beast to lock up as tier 7 to mob the floors with mainly other tier 7 units. But then again, it might have been overkill, who knows.

Overall I obviously like H3 stronghold more, but wether this works out remains to be seen. I wonder if their anti-magic ability wouldn't make them like overkill... Less / no worries from magic and specializing on stats.. ouch.

Don't forget the orcs have alternative upgrades like every faction; most likely, there will be a melee cyclops and a ranged cyclops possible.

Orc Shaman...hmm alternatives could be Battle Mage and something else.

I think, if theres a melee basic unit, there can either be upg consisting of a stronger melee unit or spellcaster and a ranged one. Fine by me if true, havent researched to much into it.

Not battle mage That is Academy's alternative to archmage - That is confirmed long time ago on a screen shot

and Monelith you said you wanted Ogre mage back, but as i see it they have renewed the orc town (great), so instead of ogre they made shamans(which seems very modern atm.) and if your lucky the ogre could be neutral?

Perhaps they do some... you know... spirit stuff or something. That doesn't count as ordinary magic.
I just don't understand why they're human, and females. I mean, ok, the developer pervs made all dark elf chicks as hoes, that's understandable, but to implement hot chicks in an ORC faction?? That's just too much... Can't wait to see what their idiotic explanation for that will be ("Shaman - Unit Description - Shamans are human females which are... uhm... actually orcs... but... uhm... they're hot because of... uhm... magic? No wait, orcs don't use magic... Uhm... Wait, wait... They bathe in unicorn blood!")
But I guess that with names like rainbow dragon, anger treant and acidic hydra, hot orcs are the least of Nival's problems actually

Finally I gain some supporters in this department!
I wonder if Dungeon was originally thought-out as an Amazon-women-kinda town. That's even hotter

It's probably clear at this point that some of us (hint hint: me, for example) ain't need no explanation. Go Nival pervs, may the Power be with y'all!

Wow. I have issues, but back to the topic: orcs look GREAT to me so far both looks and concept-wise. I actually am pretty positive the two upgrades of the Shamaness will have to feature two spells: Bloodlust (or its existing substitute, Righteous Might) and Cleansing. Gotta be!

P.S. Dungeon is still hot

A bit of changes in the game is always accaptable. If there were rocs or the thunderbirds again in this stronghold, the game would just be the '3D Version' of heroes 3. I wonder why they always make trolls neutral creatures except in h2.
