Good one Zilonite, I knew about it for duels but it didn't occur to me here. I tried and it is acceptable.

Hi,
I have just d/l the above version but I am having some problems. Basically - What am I supposed to do ? I mean, the quests /signs are written in a language that I'm not familiar with so I haven't got a clue to what I must do to progress. Help anyone ?

Well I tested 1.3c yester day just visit what you can near town (for me the external tavern gave me enough exp. to reach lvl.15 (who is max lvl. I guess) but this is a mp map not single...

15 lvl is not max (21st is). Later me or Zilo will write instructions in english about proper usage of this marvel.

Ok, invested couple of hours of my precious time and here goes the english version of the map.
Download english version of arena here
Regarding how to play it - as all texts are in english, it should be possible to figure it out
Basic idea - on day 1 you level-up, learn spells, buy your army, buy some arties, visit memory mentor and go to the center, where you can meet your opponent. If there will be some more enthusiasm about ToH tourney on this, I will write longer and more elaborate guide. 
And yes, its multiplayer map. Only way how to play against AI is if you do level-ups and all the stuff from both sides and then press autocombat on one side during the battle.

very nice indeed ... with this I can resume playing heroes V , cause it takes alot less than a normal game, and it is alot more enjoyable than a duel.
I will probably start re-using my heroes msn account again, if any of you is interested in an arena game just notice me
PS: I think it could also be used for main rankings, with only 33% of normal points gained/lost for an arena game like this, cause it contains alot of strategic elements in it.

I have discovered something flawed in this otherwise pretty balanced map: the lack of a scroll of cleansing !
I think that spell should be available to all town, always .... or else some duels will be over before they even start, because of Puppet Master.

I think it's ok as it is, because it keeps some randomness. Puppet may not be in the guild, why should cleansing be?

Visit quest hut again and again. Each next lvl-up costs money but the amount is different among levels.

Regarding cleansing/puppet: probability of getting cleansing is 33% and probability of getting puppet is 33% as well As samiekl said -every game has some random aspect here. Which is precisely the reason why this marvel is 100 times better then Ubi-val system of duels
But generally about balance - nothing is 100% perfect in heroes as luck will play some role always. But, imho, this map is as close to those 100% as any map can get, as it has been tested and continuosly improved in thousands of games. May be there are 2 or 3 match-ups where outcome is something like 90/10, but in most cases its 50/50 or 40/60 and usually winner depends on tactical skill of the player+some luck with spells/skills/ATB.
Regarding level-ups - generally maximum is lvl 20 (first 15 are for free, for lvl 16-20 you should pay additional gold 10250-9250-8250-7250-7750 respectively per next level-up). Level 21 is possible only with dark revelation
