The first image is a screenshot of Necropolis, not an artwork image. The only artwork piece amon the official wallpapers posted by Nival on the old Heroes V website was the one for Sylvan. All the others were screenshots.
And here are a few concept artwork pieces from New World Computing's Heroes of Might and Magic V game:

I much prefer nwn's style  Except the cyclops and vampires Count Dracula look is just better than nosferatu.

They have that specific charm. The cyclops is very cool.
@Dexter: Is it just me or that Necr pic looks awkward?

It does. Quite frankly many images do.
@Elvin:
The image featuring the Vampire didn't have to be the final image. There were different designs. I'm not really sure which one would make it into the game if it got finished.
And the other designs were REALLY different that the standard versions of a Vampire seen through hundereds of game titles.

Well, yesterday I reinstalled HV+HoF (for reasons that can be seen in the sticky). You know about those nice piece of artworks that act like a loading screens.
I tought to edit them a little to use as wallpapers (and they really look neat on my monitor). So, if anyone likes them, they are here to be taken:

Yeah ehm... the pose is somewhat naughtyfied lol. And there is one other creature that is a bit too detailed .
The Raja looks extraordinary though.
EDIT: lol it's not naughtyfied that is major rape in that picture LOL!!
