It's not blocked.  The Inferno and Nexus are independant from each other.

A "true ninth faction" won't really be possible until we can add or edit models.  Being that we can barely communicate with the only guy in the world (outside of Nival) who can, we're faced with problems.

I think it's possible by using a model of an existing town and by hex-editing faction/town number in .exe, types.xml, etc etc...

To end the new faction talk, I think it is impossible the special buildings' effects are hard coded in the exe file and they are linked with the faction ID so until someone finds a way to edit them, we can't create a fully working new faction.

And I wanted to inform you that ToK is still active and the Map is visually finished, I'm working on some DialogScenes now and the plot will be expanded as I told you before, currently I'm working on the scene  introducing the Transcendant Drones.

A bug or something?

Hello. I tried to play the Beta V1.2. Everything was fine until, in the second mission (The Seals), after three or four weeks of the beginning of the scenario, during enemys turn, my heroes were engaged into battle with Zoltan. First he attacked Razzak and then, if I managed to win the battle, Karador was taken into same battle against Zoltan. If I won this battle too, then Zoltan attacked Razzak again. Before the battles began, a scene where Karador and Razzak find a key ("What is this? This must be the key..." was shown.

It seems like an enemy hero triggers an event which should be triggered by players heroes only. I really don't understand much of these things, but that is how it seems to be.

I have tried to begin the scenario a few times, and I also reinstalled the whole game and ToK and tried then again. The same thing happens always. It doesn't happen always at the same turn, so that's why I thought it is triggered by enemy hero.

Yes, close to the end of the Map is a region that triggers the battles when you enter it it is possible I forgot to check which player enters it, I'll check it, thanks.

Why don't u use the "Hill Castle" as the Nexus Town ?

TERRIBLE NEWS!

I think I'm nailed by some kind of virus, a few days ago the entire ToKMODs2 folder was empty while I was working with it! I amnaged to get most of my work back by zipping the folders in the hm5mods folder only yesterday I found out I still missed Map 4 and 7 I got map 4 back from the Beta 1.2 folder, but Map 7 is gone! It was too late for a recovery program. Luckily that map wasn't created by me, but by Lord_Evil, but he no longer comes online so I sent him an e-mail, I hope he still has it.....

I could make Map 7 when Lord Evil hasn't it anymore , but first you must make AdvMapObjectLink files for the Nexus objects i still have problems with the TOK-Editor. And the TOK-Data.h5u is unpackable! so i couldn't pack it in the map.

@Kronos: I don't think a virus would target your mod's folder specifically. Somehow I still think you moved it or something similar and it still lies somewhere on your Hard Drive, maybe try a search and see if you can find it

If it's really a virus that did this I hope you do manage to recover Lord Evil's map.
