I think the Necro designs are how they should be- personaly I think they are bad, but again - they suppose to be ugly, pale and not having bright or great colours...

That's exactly the point.  Ugly but perfect for Necropolis.
And personaly, I find some of them quite pretty; Markal, Deirdre, Lucretia and Raven.

Orson is actually inspired by a character from this show called Mork and Mindy which was a children's show about an Alien (Robin Williams) who comes to earth and is Silly. Orson was his boss, and was really, really fat.

At first I disliked all the designs, they looked somehow off compared to the more cartoonish fantasy style of the creatures, the ports were a bit more realistic in my opinion, a different style of drawing.
I've grown to like them though, especially Nur and Kythra
Raelag actually looks best out of the warlocks, most look ugly. He's got a nice outfit too. As does Agrael, they should have made the inferno heroes look more like him. The rest look plain awkward, it's as if each of them is a unique species on its own. I never knew about Deleb's human face mask, which is both gruesome and awesome.
Gotta love the Haven female breastplates
I actually thought Anwen was a male as well, quite disappointed actually when I found out it was a she. Never saw Findan, he looks nice.
What I miss in Necropolis is the actual skeleton heads. Like Xsi and Nagash from H3.
Likewise I kinda REALLY miss the Troglodyte and Minotaur commanders in Dungeon. Dungeon needs more different leaders than just dark elves. At least 1 human and 1 minotaur.

Just like Mino guys are slaves and therefor cant be heroes - I think that is around the same reason why you dont see Skeleton Heroes - Skeletons are nothing more then fodders... And no brain, so ability to lead an army.
