Speaking of raking, I was supposed to scan a picture for you. My neighbor just gave it to me. You Canadians aren't the only ones with maple trees. I have a big one!

I have a big tree also.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ... *sniff sniff* I just thought *sob*...

Pan, please come back! I'll even find more of those baboons for you!

On second thought, I found something even better than baboons. As a jewish citizen of Israel I confirm that all coffee served in this Coffee House is kosher!

Maybe she got kidnapped. All we can do is wait to see if we get a demand for ransom.

Or maybe a leaf blew into her yard and she went to chase it.

Edit: WOW, I never heard of kosher coffee. Is it anything like kosher pickles? I have some kosher pickles in the fridge.

Now now Consis, no mixing of time periods within a single paragraph. I think it violates some sort of rule or something. It might have been Moses when he descended from a mountain with those big rocks with stuff written on them. "Thou shalt not mix contemporary Anglo with pirate".

How the heck did Moses carry those things anyway? They're big ROCKS, and he was a little starving skinny guy. So how the heck did he carry those rocks down from the mountain? I mean wouldn't it have been more efficient for God to zap some local rocks down at the BOTTOM of the mountain instead of making Moses go all the way to the top? But nooooo, God had to get all fancy and mysterious. Throw in some lightning (Gods love the lightning thing for some reason) and add some surrealistic colors. Then as Moses descends, have some clouds part with a beam of light shining on him, with angels and violins playing heavenly music in the background. Gees, God can be such a drama queen sometimes!

Ah, my morning coffee has cooled to just the right temperature. Time to chug-a-lug.

Binabik - coffee should never cool! I must say I agree with you about the mixing of time periods, it causes undue stress and confusion. Like for example the movie "A Knight's Tale" - that soundrack had me reeling

Somehow I read this wrong, and thought that you wanted God to be playing Bee Gees music in the background. That could have been cool, a major biblical event set to the falsettos stylings of the Gibbs

Initially I was unsure about the idea of Kosher coffee, 'cuz i really didn't know for certain if the Kosher stuff might offend any patrolling Disco Gods... but since that certificate really does look official, I'm going to agree that it's okay

My post is ready now. It's still a bit hot or drinking, almost burned my tongue.

And damit Pan, I've had that stupid song going through my head ever since you mentioned the Bee Gees. I even looked up the lyrics. I was surprised to see the line before "staying alive" actually had words. I always thought it was one big long word with about 20 syllables.

ahhhh, just a bit longer and the caffine will kick in

LOL, I know - I've been cursing myself for it too - the song keeps rolling through my head, and I'm guessing it will be a tough one to shake... I guess I should feel a bit of shame that I actually do know all the words hehehe

Maybe I should post in the what you're listening to right now thread - do songs that play only in your mind count?

Think I'll go grab another coffee - and drink it before it cools

To this day I've never seen Greese, nor have any desire to watch it.

lol, I forgot about dancing queen. How about Wild Cherry?

Play that funky music white boy
Play that funky music right
Play that funky music white boy
Lay down and the boogie and play that funky music 'til you die
'til you die, oh 'til you die

and of course can't forget KC:

Do a little dance, make a little love,
Get down tonight.
Get down tonight.
Get down, get down, get down, get down,
Get down tonight baby.
Get down, get down, get down, get down,
Get down tonight baby.

(I totally planned on changing the subject, but I couldn't help myself)

Hmmmm, I think post two is ready!
