That's my problem too, my time is Week 7.   I didn't try to do anything strange, just conquered all the map and headed toward the final town there.
Any one got a save game from academy first level ? or a possible  workaround, please ?

To Harakiri: The golem quest can be archived from the tower in the southwest corner (above the academy town - left of the map). You just have to bring some gremlin there and you'll have 2000+ golem (mine is 2456) as a reward.

Since no one found a solution, I've dug into the map's lua script, and found a workaround. Using the game console, execute the command

@prim1_CaptureMainAcademyTown_completed(nil, PLAYER_1, nil)

Watch out for the uppper & lowercase characters!
This will trigger the same thing as taking the last academy town (shahibdiya) would. Of course, this won't defeat the orange player nor will it take his town, but you can corner him with other heroes and go kill Alaric as you were supposed to do. After killing Alaric, the level is won.

Hope this helps!

Help, I'm stuck on map 2 of orc campaign.

How do I get to the 4th and last orc town??  The ocean is blocked by rocks so I can't sail there, and there are no portals I can use to get there!

go to the island (where green player was) and there is another shore near the town (not where purple player was the other one) go there and use vessel of shalassa spell to summon you'r boat and it is there on the other side of the rocks. hope that helps you

Aaargh!! I'm on the last mission and glancing at the surrounding monsters I regret it veeery much I took Absolute Rage over Triple Ballista+Flaming Arrows for Gotai!

Elvin, your replay with 2 Cyclops was taken from this mission, wasn't it?  *siiigh*  Just have to move on with whatever I have now  So much for Ultimate...

Hehe good memory It really helped me in the last mission because I was not forced to wait or return for reinforcements. Also if you burned down the peasant huts in the 3rd mission you should have insane attack that makes the ballista even better. Of course there is a memory mentor in the mission, it's in the desert to the northeast of the first academy.

TotE Orc Campain Mission 2 HELP!

I keep getting my a$$ whooped by teal or purple.  Ive gotten passed the first two warlords that i have to convince but i cant get passed purple to go to convince green, and if i stay on my home island for too long, teal comes by and stomps me.

if i build up a big enough army to defeat the teal wandering hero, will the game generate another one to come after me?  do the rival tribes' armies get stronger the longer i wait to attack them?

*spoilers*

Purple won't activate until after you get in a boat and start sailing.  They have a set number of creatures, you can just grow until you feel confident and look for them.  Stay close to your launch area, cause if you are really big they will try to sneak around you and attack your town.

As for teal, here is the only way I have found to beat him.  When you have cleared everything and are ready stay at the second town for a day.  Don't end your turn at that town or he might come earlier. Sometimes you have to go through the one way portal the elementals are guarding.  Sometimes you have to stay one night at your first town.  Anyhow, don't buy any creatures until he actually starts moving.  Try to wait till he actually goes through the one way portal.  Make sure your main has visited the stable also.

Then, once he goes through the portal buy every creature you can.  He is stuck and can not go back for reinforcements.  Keep in mind his army will ALWAYS be bigger then what you have when he first exited the one way portal (or so it seems).  This is any army, even ones garrisoned or in one of the other heroes army.  Only unbought creatures seem immune.

Once you have your now massive army, chase him down.  He is very slippery, loves using the one way portal that the elementals once guarded, and go around in circles.  Very annoying.

Hmm is their anyway I can talk a mod into allowing me to start a sticky thread with the things I have already posted?

Yeah but then we'd have to have some more stickies for the other campaigns plus people avoid reading stickies in the first place

Scenario 2 of Orc campaign is quite a hell Fun though!

I had no problems with brown, no fight and they joined. I had about 3 cyclops and 2 wyverns when teal came down for a visit with 22 upgraded wyverns... Long and painfull battle; in the end it was my 24 goblins vs his 160 witch doctors. Fortunately, I had tripple balista, and won the battle by running away with my goblins, having 7 left when I defeated him THAT was awesome. Of course, sailing with a meager army gets me killed when I reached lethos.

Can teal be reached through the portal? One would think you'd have to kick his ass first then and prevent a possible two-front war...

Fortunately, waiting and building an army is what I like to do best.

No, but once you beat the one hero teal will bother you no more.  He sits in his starting area quite content after that.  Especially against sylvan (purple) you really have to have a heck of an army.   Good thing they don't grow regardless how long it takes.

Edit : Just to specify for some people .  Purple is under control of Dungeon, but has a Sylvan army.  Why exactly light and dark elves are working together is a bit of a mystery.

Actually it is both.  The ships that purple have do include a sylvan armada.  Believe me, it ripped me apart the first time I encountered it.

Isn't that they couldn't get past the spot where you suppose to recruit the few Cyclops? I say outgrowing them will never make a bad strategy.

Btw Mystie, your idea on how to handle teal sounds very interesting Maybe you can/should try that Moonlith, don't lose big battling teal. Still a long way to go.

Ok, so someone has been complaining about Orlando at the end of Necro campaign. Has ANYONE finish that fifth scenario of Orcs and took that city Shabitabilya or whatever, coz he'll have to tell me on which map location does your army that count in thousands get multiplied by 10 or 20 in order to take that damn city? I mean honestly, I am at the beggining of month 3, have built perfect, have played a good game, got the Ultimate Skill AND Ability, had like 43 Untamed, 400+ Warmongers, 160+ Chieftains, 70 Paokais, 600+ Goblins, ok somewhat less Centaurs 300+, they got slaughtered through the game and got rollercosted. Rollercosted! Lucky hit by 119 Rakshasas 18 Untamed gone, moral on RR, Galib cast haste on them, they play almost immediately, boom, another lucky, another 18 Untamed...WTF?! The rest got roasted by that 50 Titans of his and 180+ Battle mages...Suggestions?

Orlando doesnt show up until you take the last haven town in the southeast corner of the map.  fortunately he makes a bee-line to your home city, which you can get to quickly by going north from the SE corner thru the last orange gatehouse, thru a portal, then use your totem to cast town portal to bring you to your home town in the NE corner.  I admit even with all my troops it was a long fight but i attrited him to victory
