About Raelag.
if you play the scenario "Agrael's Trial" you'll find out what happened with him:

R A E L A G = A G R A E L

Didn't see that coming !Did you?!

Actually, campaign 2 (Inferno campaign) and campaign 4 (Dungeon campaign) are all about Agrael / Raelag, and his transformation from one to the other.

The scenario "Agrael's Trial" is just his initiation into the Demonic hordes, sort of a precursor to the Inferno campaign in the standard HoMM5 game.

Actually I don't think that's right, Palaedra was the replacement kingdom for the destroyed Erathia in Heroes IV's storyline which was ruled by Lord Lysander, and should be in Axeoth, not Ashan.  You seem to be going by the old beta map from when Nival wanted to use Axeoth but Ubisoft wouldn't let them.

I suppose all future stories will take place after Dark Messiah, since TotE already bridged the gap.

No, that map is strange, and i believe it is a map of the future of homm 5, and that map is a map of ashan, why? because a region near the holy griffin empire which is suposed to be the nation of warlocks and its capital ygg chal are gone, like it was hit by a very strong godlike power that can sunk a continent, may be a meteor or a moon, i have an insight, when asha awake, urgash also awake, in HoF, the underground land of warlock is near the demons land, so urgash awakening may destroy a large portion of a land above him, for he is a PRIMORDIAL DRAGON, then asha and urgash will fight once again, and all creatures of ashan will tremble before the power of the primordial gods.

Another note, that map was released after the one from the collector editon, in the map from collector edition, warlock's nation is still there, near the holy griffin empire.

It's not a future map.  Trust me.  Kreegar, Lost Palaedra and Tam AvLee are all references to places from the old storyline.  The continent also cannot be called Palaedra since, as I mentioned before, it's a kingdom from Heroes IV, which makes it a direct reference to Axeoth's geography.  Many of the locations on that map may have geographic similarities to the current one, and a good few names like Grimheim and Heresh were carried over, but other than that you will not be seeing all those locations together throughout any one time or place during the released game.  Ubisoft stopped Nival from carrying over many aspects of Axeoth's story into Ashan, so it's obsolete.

In short.  It is a beta map.

Then, can you explain where is ygg chal in that map, another thing, why many people knew about hasima and nariya because of that map, not because the one from collector edition, last, why that map is more complete than the collector edition.

No, Ygg-Chall clearly wasn't invented when that map was made.  Hashima and Nariya don't necessarily even exist in Ashan.  They are not mentioned whatsoever in either Heroes or Dark Messiah.  Because you are taking your evidence from a beta map.

It is not more complete than the Collectors Edition map because it includes locations which don't exist in Ashan.

the first map is something from a loooong time ago, and it's not valid; only the second one counts as the Ashan map; so it was said in an interview

The map that Cep posted is a beta map (thought by CD as future map), designed by Nival for H5, then Ubisoft said no, don't carry too many things from the older H4, so they finally came up with the one Moonlith posted.

If I'm wrong, then I must be more confused than any of you guys. If I'm right, please stop pissing off Cepheus and do not derail this confusion any further

@emilsn: I think of our world map being twisted, with Irrolan = West Europe, Griffin = Eastern Europe. My country is below Hashima and Nariya, whereever or whatever that is.

I think you are right. since we know how brilliantly did Heroes IV performed the ubisoft does not want to bring any thoughts or 'good memories' from it.
