greatest cost could mean anything
i'm assuming that the death thing was incorrect so...
The creature that comes at the greatest cost is the spectral dragon.
1 dragon of every other kind must give a bone for a spectral dragon to be completed and a high ranking necromancers soul is required as well.

Ok, so people have tried death and gold, so i'll try a wacky new concept, and I know it's ridiculous too, so don't worry
The Avatar of Death, summoned by Arantir, as it is his specialty.
It may only cost around 30-40 mana at a good level, but if you lose it you lose ALL your mana, which could be well above 200 or 300 if you get appropriate bonuses etc. before the battle.

I'd say the genie summoned by Zehir in last campaign in ToTe, it comes at the cost of his own life force. Otherwise Zehir's town (if you can consider it a creature...).

if this is soem kind of a riddle i guess it's the bone/spectral/ghost dragon cause the most expensive creatures is a dragon and it dies you will buy it again as an undead dragon

7. it could be Wight/wraith, executor or bloodeyed cyclop. the cost is death of many living creatures(the skulls hanging on them(i know it isn't allowed with multiple answer on the same question, but i haven't counted the skulls hanging on them)

Incomplete and partially incorrect.
The rest about the 7th question I'm not surprised you had trouble over it.. Just saw the answer myself and it is not gameplay related. Apparently it was not meant to enter the round for obvious reasons and I see that inferno posted the answer as well: death - your own to be precise which gives it away.
I will apply the point to those who were more creative about it and apologize on TDL's behalf that is not feeling very well these days.

Oh, and the one that most of the knights have, Pathfinder, is sorta from the skill Pathfinding.
