KOE NO KATACHI, FINALLY! FINALLY! I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW! THANK YOU. SO. ****ING. MUCH! I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT! GO WATCH IT NOW! NOW! NOOOOW!

I have never seen an anime quite like this before, without excesses or cliche or melodrama. It hit the spot perfectly. 10 / 10 will watch again!

I love watching anime and being able to recognize a particular artist/animator or even a music composer (though thus far only Yuki Kajiura, was watching Pandora hearts and immediately the opening song felt almost nostalgic).

Or voice actor, yeah ^^ Some characteristics are almost like a trademark.

Started attack on titan, looks pretty likable so far. But those titan derpfaces! I hope Eren will mature soon, he is annoying.

Lol at the revival twist. For a moment I was like holy crap they actually killed [...]! Also [...] can lift but not roll? Oh boy

Despite all the horrors I have seen, I cannot dislike the titans. They look like people with an intellectual disability that don't know wrong from right or even what is happening. That's rather sad.

What I really do like is the vertical maneuvering equipment. Wheee~!

Meanwhile, I just finished watching Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! and it was fairly entertaining. The main character contrasting with the rest of his party has to be the best thing about it, everything else existing on the side as mediocre filler. This kinda leaves me wanting for some good RPG / game world anime, something even better than Log Horizon. Something with a good setting, intriguing plot and some character development. Though I bet my chances are higher with fantasy or sci-fi. Feeling kinda hard finding engaging animes nowadays.

It is a great watch but not exactly a main course. More of a snack

You should try Makoto Shinkai's works if you want a good emotional story. 5 Centimeters per Second, The Garden of Words, Your Name, Children Who Chase Lost Voices.. Your name is easily my favourite.

Damn. This latest Attack on Titan episode was great. Commander Erwin MVP. One more to go and the season's already over.

Berserk's gone to **** though. I kinda realize that I tried liking it more that it deserved. I do appreciate that the story picked up from where it left, but it doesn't do it justice. It doesn't feel as intense and passionate to watch this CGI than it was to watch the original, far off actually. Even the 3 part movie was better. It's unfortunate that Guts finally puts the berserk armor on and beats the living crap out of an apostle and I feel nothing. No tension, no thrill, nothing. Big letdown.

Erwin has balls of steel. Ymir is losing it in her panic. They eat people but nobody's perfect right? But her power being acquired, that's interesting.

Berserk used to be cool but they overdid it with the cgi again. That and slowing down the action to the point that it feels like a turn-based pokemon battle. Srsly guys.

But I started Spice and Wolf and I love it Romanticized medieval fantasy with good chemistry between the protagonists and witty dialogues. Holo, the capricious wolf goddess is an amazing character but Lawrence the travelling peddler is also refreshing as a man of dignity and logic in an anime ocean of stupid characters. Plus medieval economics, who'd have guessed?

Yea, both seasons of Spice and Wolf were great. I remember Tsar had this furry fetish and he mentioned it, so I though what the hell. At first I didn't think much of it, but it gradually grew on me and before long I finished it all. Pretty good, the merchant was an interesting fellow and the relationship with the girl was well constructed.

Meanwhile, got around watching Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! 2 and it was as entertaining as the first season. Some scenes really had me laughing. Sadly, it's been confirmed by the author that there won't be a season 3. Kinda surprising, but I guess this guy explains fairly accurately as to why. Can't believe I'm reminded how I don't know how Haruhi Suzumiya actually ends, damn it!

This is very sad I love konosuba. Spice and wolf has more to the story but I guess there won't be a season 3. And it is likely we won't be getting a log horizon season 3 either, at least not anytime soon Author was caught for tax evasion or something.

Meanwhile, Eren has.. new powers? Isn't that convenient. I kinda want to read the manga but the art puts me off. I'll probably wait for next season. There, a 3rd season that will come

Wasn't as impressive as season 1. Too melodramatic for what it had to show. I mean, I already knew what was going to happen after reading the manga, but still. Hope it gets better in the 3rd season confirmed for 2018.

EDIT:
Hah, who would've thought that 153 episodes of Dragon Ball would be so entertaining. I am actually surprised I enjoyed it so much. There's that appeal of some old animes that these new ones lack. Looking forward to continuing with Dragon Ball Z and whatever else lies next. Stormy would be proud

EDIT:
Love Lab was a good anime for a change of pace. It wasn't amazing, but it was more than decent. Given the comedy, romance and school tags, I'm surprised I didn't watch it sooner. Definitely looking forward for another season. That said, I'd like to watch something more thought provoking. Hard ones to come by.

I use MyAnimeList.
Attack on Titan S2 was really good - better than the first season, IMO, because it had better pacing.
Now that it's over, I'm looking for another currently airing anime to follow.

Lol I've found HC to be the best repository for all my anime, was going to have a notepad list, but right now it's a bookmark/folder list (keep failing to copy them over to new harddrives tho).

Also crap forgot to update again for a while dayum.

Finished:

Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou - 7/10
Watched it months ago, it's actually pretty chill a few odd laughs here and there and entertaining I suppose if you're not looking for anything serious.

Ajin - 6/10
3d Animation, idk how much people like these but after RWBY and Zerker I'm kinda getting used to them, but it's a niche and takes getting used to. Has some bits that I absolutely loved, story is also interesting, with an odd delivery though.

Gokukoku no Brynhildr - 8/10

It felt like some mix between Elfen Lied and Future Diary. I enjoyed it, the fanservice did not make me cringe/it felt right and only a few animes have delivered that. The ending rubbed me the wrong way though.

Pandora Hearts - (rating includes manga 10/10)

Brilliant soundtrack, well developed story and characters, perfect conclusion. Gets rather chaotic around 3/4 of the way in, plus binging on the manga all night doesn't help with getting to grips with major story developments/twists. One massive downside of the manga is the lack of soundtrack that really made the anime shine and got me hooked (the story is great so I didn't have trouble, but the right track for the right mood would have been perfect, I just ended up playing the whole OST on loop while reading).

Monster - 7/10

It's long, has several phases, I found it interesting, but the story started to lose its hold as it went on, when all the pieces came together, I didn't really feel the excitement one ought to do. I found the villain to be so good at first, but again began to lose its hold. I felt that the MC's character despite all the screen time barely develops or grows after around a third way in. Maybe I need to rewatch it with a different mind-set.

Gekijouban Kara no Kyoukai: The Garden of Sinners - 9/10

I dropped this anime twice in the last few years without finishing even the first episode, not that it was bad, something about the anime's atmosphere felt really really off for me. Everything felt hollow, but I was naive to think it would remain thus. Anyhow really damn glad I finished it. Never had any idea that the setting was in a similar/same world as the Fate series but something about this anime felt really dark and twisted. Anyhow had only one complaint, apart from that very solid. P.S surprised it doesn't have a romance tag.

Just getting back into anime watched Garden of SInners last and that was over a month ago. Currently watching Gangsta, I dig it.

Also Attack on Titan, I feel so damn sorry for the Titan that got ripped to shreds, after hearing what Ymir said about being in a never ending nightmare, I kinda feel sorry for all of them. Levi pretty much sums it up for me. It's another anime tho where the manga is now too far ahead to ever catch up to, we need at least 3 seasons (could get away with 2, but idk). Who knows it is really popular.

Also Spice and Wolf...had the ending spoiled by the announcement (i thought it was the next season not next novel dammit)

P.s pretty sure I binge watched a few others, but idk where the hell I saved them.

YES! Glad you got to it, I find the series special. Especially spiral paradox that was insane in every sense of the word.

I don't know if you can stomach visual novels but a few months back I got into tsukihime and was similarly amazed as I was with fate and kara. It is a bit dated but the story is fantastic. Just don't watch the anime, ever. I heard there will be a remake and eventually a new anime so keep an eye out for it.

Spice and Wolf I might read the light novels eventually. I'd hate for good material to go wasted if we don't get a 3rd season. I also plan to eventually read the kara no kyokai light novels but the number of pages has so far deterred me from printing.

Of those you mentioned I have only monster in my to watch list. Currently watching Jormungand and enjoying it. It has a black lagoon feel about it and some scenes are glorious.
