I recall making a statement about Fate some time ago in another thread. It contained the following points:
1. Saber is overrated;
2. Fate Stay/night is a horrible anime;
3. Therefore all of Fate is trash;
At that time I had watched only the 2006 anime adaptation. Now, finally having read the visual novel, I wish to correct my previous statement:
1. Saber is best girl;
2. Fate Stay/night is a horrible introduction to Fate, but it's quite good if you consider it to be an animated extra to the Fate path;
3. Fate is awesome when Shirou is off-screen half the time;
Now excuse me, as I am soon about to face more spin-offs than Gundam.
