As for Azagal, I don't think he's paranoid at all. It is the fundamentalist Islamists with their call for Sharia law and their practice of barbarism and savagery that do more to harm Islam and foster prejudice within the western world than anything else.

I think that every country has the right to decide what city is its capital. We decided that it's Jerusalem. The entire goverment and the Supreme Court of Israel is in Jerusalem.

So let me get this straight. Israel takes half of Jerusalem in 1967, and then turns around and declares it to be its capital? What was your capital before your people annexed half the city?

Well you are right but I don't see how this conflicts with the fact my impression of him being paranoid.
He acts as if all Muslims are zealous fighters for sharia law etc.. I think he is quite correct when he says that despite all "cultural respect" things like family murders, beating daughters, etc. are intolerable and believe values should have no weight whatsoever in a courtroom! It's ridicolous and idiotic. Sharia law can under no circumstances (like any other "holy" text) be a legal (wtf?) justification for anything!
But he is paranoid because he talks of "Muslims" and "Islam". He doesn't differ between freaks and normal people like he should do.
And come on... what's with the "let's abolish religion etc." talk? Isn't that paranoid aswell? The fact that he seems incapable of differenciating between fanatics and normal people is what I find paranoid.

No. Hebron is until today in the West Bank, so it's dangerous to have it as a capital, and besides, it's not a big city. It was obvious that Jerusalem should be the capital city also before 1967, but since only a half of it was in our hands, the government was setteled in the Opera Towers in Tel-Aviv, right on the sea shote. I go to that beach and to have a meal in the Opera Towers (which have become a small mall) most of the times I come to Tel-Aviv. 
In the moment it was safe enough to settle the goverment buildings in Jerusalem (1967, after the six-days war), we did it.
Nice to see that you have some knowledge of historical facts, Gootch.

I remember the six day war and nothing I remember is allowed to be called "historical".
In the US we had that little thing called the Vietnam war going on, but all the fighting in the Gaza strip and Sinai Peninsula also made a lot of news. Not daily news, but almost daily. And who could forget Menachem Begin with his hard line policies?

Maybe hard line policies, but eventually, he is the one who made the peace with Egypt which has been working quite well.
