@nickkk, the question is about your first faction. surely a few only have ToE wich don't need the first game to work and stronghold was their first team but HoF requers the original game to play so i think they played the original game first.

My first one was Heaven.Always in all Heroes(my opnion)Human is the best races ever.And i love to play with good "ones",but when i see that Undead Influence in this H5 world is almost none,when i see how weaks are their units,i started to like them

Mine was Sylvan since my brother took Dungeon and I didn't want the same town.
How come Haven is leading this poll?
Who would ever want to play with Haven? Or Knight,Castle or Life for that matter. They are boooring.
Oh yeah they are the first campaign. Forgot about that, d'uh.

@ jonnasto. maybe everyone likes to play haven because they are humans and all first-in-heroes-games-for-me-is-h5 players choose Haven.

Mine was Inferno. I was so eager to see how the Devils are made in HOMM5, because they were my H3 favourite unit and the most retarded evidence of its creator's mental ilness in H4. Seriously, mediocre stats, no "no retal" or any other really useful skills and those stinkin' pitchfork and chicken legs!! Ugghh....

roh... teleport + summon ice demons was totally awesome. imo it's the creature with the best abilities in the whole serie.

edit: Hey! I Thought I've posted here before... I choose Academy as well. Wizards are my old favourites, but if I finally have the game (I played at a friend's) I will try Haven as "second first", I think they are much better in HoMM5 than in prev games.

Dungeon because I was expecting some slave master to go out and dominate everything. . . Never got to that dominating stage of my life on heroes.

Inferno. I was worse than a newbie at that time so I thought they suck, switched to necropolis, then tried other races and now I'm back to good old inferno.

Academy.
Although Sylvan was near to my heart because of seeing Druids again as creatures (waited since H2!) but the faction philosophy was what made me pick Academy. And gotta love the theme too

I play first with the Inferno,I play with the other factions only in campaigns and in some very few custum game.But in the last months I played always with Inferno!

Think I started with Haven because they were the first faction in vanilla H5 campaign, anyway now I am almost exclusively playing Haven.
