Yeah. I don't quite get online etiquette. You think people could play just to have fun instead of turning into nothing but immature punks.
Tell you what, if I can ever find a decent internet connection, I'm all for starting up a new raiding party. It's been awhile since I played the game. Heck, I'm not sure if I've played it since synergies were introduced but it's not like it's really hard to figure out.

Yeah exactly. The people who really annoyed me were those people in the D2 b.net chat. Some of them were just plain rude. Sometimes I asked what a particular item was worth and then they would just swear at me, give me false information or just tell me I am a noob. Sometimes if I was unsure of what an item was worth and I wanted something, then I would ask "is [item] worth a HR?" and then I would instantly regret asking it.
Other people that often really annoyed me were those who make a game saying something like "free item" and then when you enter it because of curiosity, they start calling you a noob or they give a potion or something. It just really annoys me.
And yeah, that would be cool. right now i am on dialup (went over the monthly limit :grr). I wanna get back into the game but I have no idea if any of my friends are still playing it.

Not being able to connect sucks. I lost all my characters on Battlenet a long time ago because I wasn't able to connect with my university-supplied laptop. I wasn't at 99 or anything, but losing a level 65+ Barbarian, 47+ Paladin, and a slew of other characters wasn't cool.

Yeah I know what you mean by that as well. The worst thing that happened to me was that my account was hacked. I had all my characters (but one) deleted. The one that was left was my highest level one (not my most powerful though). The items were all taken and the hacker got a whole bunch of potions and then rearranged them so that in my cube it was a smiling face and then in my inventory it spelt out LOL. That really pissed me off since i worked very hard with all my characters.

Do videogamers really need to emphasize the fact a decent amount of us don't have lives? Is there really nothing else to do than think of ways to be better than someone in an online game? Ok, someone is better. Let's see. I'll post everything that a person gets in real life for such an accomplishment.

Thatswhy i wonīt play in battle.net with my own developed characters, but use hacked ones which you can download.

But where is the fun in that? B.net is good because it is actually fun developing your characters and whatnot. Getting hacked isn't fun but that can be solved by not giving out your password to anyone, not falling for those stupid scams and by using a strong password that includes letters and numerals.

But letīs not be such historians and talk about diablo 3, i have seen barbarian and with doctor gameplay, witch doctor was fantastic, but i cannot say any word to barbarian, looks like tankish killer again.

There's nothing wrong with talking about Diablo 2. It is perfectly alright to talk about D2 and discuss among ourselves, possible ideas that could be implemented into Diablo 3 and what we think would work and what wouldn't.

Yeah, but diablo 3 comes and it seems that it still can be played with mouse only and strong epicly strong characters, not with overpowered skills, but just feel that your character is strong and can beat everyone and being unique

How do you know that? They haven't even finished the game yet so I am sure there will be plenty of overpowered skills and whatnot.

I just hope Blizzard takes a page from Titan Quest (seeing as how they don't mind incorporating ideas) and either give 3 skill points a level or allow players to redistribute their skills for an increasing cost. That would be great.

A couple of things I really wish they'd bring in from Titan Quest are scalable summons and useful skills. In Titan Quest, it was nice to have wolves, nymphs, core dwellers, and the like get stronger later on instead of becoming totally worthless in later acts. As to the useful skills comment, just about every skill in Titan Quest could be used effectively even on Legendary mode which was great if you spent a lot of time investing in a certain build. In Diablo 2, there are just worthless. The synergies help but only so much. Take the Ravens for example. I thought it was really cool when I started the expansion to have an unkindness flying around and pecking at my enemies. Unfortunately, they were totally worthless in the later difficulties and I was stuck with the build. It would be really nice if every skill could be useful throughout the game and not just as a synergy.

I can so relate...bnet is full of immature kids now. There were arseholes back when I played D2 first time(6 years ago...holy crap), but it wasn't nearly as bad as now. When someone's being rude I usually reply 'you were a n00b once too.' Then they challenge me to a duel just to show off how big their e-**** is. I can see what losers they are in real life.
And like I said, I started playing again recently. So let me know if you want to play together.
