It's not a matter of soldier's luck but the triggering chances altered. However from what I saw in the data changes I'd expect it to work less now.

Has it always been that way, that changing the week takes effect immediately?
Which doesn't make sense at all since growth numbers aren't affected then, I suppose (couldn't check myself, but my opponent told me they weren't).
Of course you can hope for some spawned joiners, but most important were increased growth numbers for me.

Probably a dumb questions but:

Does anyone know what the new "experience" toggle (settings 1-5) does in the random map generator?

I figured it was some sort of modifier for post-battle experience earned, but when I tested it I received the correct "base" amount of experience whether it was set to "1" or "5".

Also, doesn't affect castle build level or starting hero experience level.  

Only thing I can think of now is it might change the amount of experience needed to level up?

Amazing undocumented changes!!!!

My first thought was that they hadnīt realised that some balance changes were needed, but I think now, that the only thing that they have left, is the arcane archer.

zenithale found some changes in duel heroes. I looked quickly and some of them have bigger armies and more artefacts.

Hey have somebody expierienced that the patched game use more virtual memory then before(I have 2Gb Of Ram), and after time i can see slow downs in later game

well I'm not sure as knights had bigger armies for example (they seem already very strong to me, especially irina I think)

Is Karli rebalanced? This hero was overpowered in v3.0 I can't check this because I'm in foreign country.

Well, I'm not sure why the Arcana Archers didn't get a serious nerfing, but the Water Elementals are a start, and a start I'm content with.

Several changes in Duel mode:

Academy:
no change

Haven:
Irina: loses Summoning, Cape of the Lion's mane, Elemental Waithband, gains Leadership with Divine Guidance, Archery, Edge of balance, Necklace of the Bloody Claw.
Vittorio: learns Resurection

Dungeon:
no change

Inferno:
Nymus loses a lot of creatures (-2 tiers 6, -6 tiers 5, -10 tiers 3 and -10 tiers 1).

Necropolis:
Orson: 2 stacks of 50 zombies instead of 1 of 100; loses 10 skeletons, 2 Wraiths, 1 Lich Master and gains 1 poltergeist; loses chilling bones and Protection, gains evasion and last stand.
Raven: loses Intelligence and Learning, gains basic Attack, cold steel and the Runic War Harness.
Deidre: no change (but Storm wind is now incredible)

Fortress:
Karli: loses the Rune of resurection and a lot of spells and creatures (-1 tier 6, -3 tiers 5, -1 tier 3, -15 tiers 2).

Stronghold:
no change

Sylve:
Ossir: gains 9 Master hunters, 7 Arcane archers and his 31 High druids are replaced by 33 Druide elders.

Maybe I forget other things.

I think that informations from Zenithale's post should be put to "undocumented changes" in master post

I'm so happy to know that Karli is weaken
But I've expected more changes. For example Lethos - Poison master without mass decay...

Shak' is good, but Haggash and Garuna are bad, true.
Balance is better now, but far from perfection. Unfortunately there are always one-way fights, and the random play is thus too...random...

Yes shak is not really bad but to win battles with the other two is not easy.. You need to be pretty lucky with luck and morale I remember.
