Awesome... Magnificient !!!
The creature can easily be added to the game ! If we have the skeletons file, the model file and the animations files, we can still add them in our NCF pak !! In bin\skeletons etc.
I made it for the sounds of my wisps !!!

Find the other animation files pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaase !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still, we'd need to come up with some sort of a texture file.  Creating brand new ones from scratch can be exceptionally difficult.

It's already in the game.  The problem is getting it to work, as it doesn't have all the necessary animations and other resources.

It's quite simple... While you have the right type of file (the models files are what ? .ma ?), you erease the extension of the file. You rename the file with the following canevas :

XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX
  8      4    4    4       12

You replace all the X by 0 for example for the first model, for the second you make the same but the last number is 1, etc.

00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 (first model)
00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000001 (second model)
etc.
The name MUST be like this. If not, that doesn't work (with sounds, in all cases. Models are the same I think.).
Then, in the model xdb file, write the correct <uid> of the model. The first :
<uid>00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000</uid>
the second :
<uid>00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000001</uid>

And there you are...
Idem for skeletons files and animations files. While you have the correct type of file (.wav for the sounds for example), you can easily add it to the game, in your MOD you will only create a bin\Geometries (or AIGeometries I don't know) folder, a bin\animations folder and a bin\Skeletons folder.

You can easily download a totaly free version of Maya, named Maya PLE 8.5 (Personal Learning Edition).
But the problem is that we cannot export to .ma or .mb file... Only save under the PLE extension.
Still supposing that the model files extension is .ma or .mb
And we would also need granny full version to export animations files only...

EDIT : yes you are I could
And the UV map is very useful ! It is how the model flat the texture. Normally, each vertex appear on this uv map, and all the faces to. You see then what we see now :
(I'll show pictures of the UV, you will understand)

I think I get what you mean.  It's a file which shows the placement of the textures without the textures themself included.
