I just spotted a bug: Razzak (Academy) starts with Expert Artificier! This also allows him to gain the Ultimate Ability

Thanks, also I was thinking to ban evercold icicle, trident of titans and phoenix feather cape that can be pretty scary in dungeon's hands. Initially I only banned the slippers as earth are the most devastating spells but I'm wondering if the rest should get the boot too.

Because they are very powerful on their own if you count troops and runes. However necro, academy or dungeon can lose badly if unlucky with spells because they can't be as effective in the might department, especially vs might factions.

Anyways I'm hoping to see replays from the upcoming tournament, don't flood the thread with your random duels  I plan to get it started in a few days.

If you forget a skill the stat bonuses it gave are gone, works for enlightenment as well as abilities like arcane excellence. Also if you relearn it you get the bonuses back but not extra 100 mana, the bonus is only one-time.
For the record I may learn arcane excellence or intelligence just for the mana and forget it. Dungeon or haven would have quite a low mana without it and it's something you pay for anyway not to mention that you risk not getting the right skills afterwards.

Of course, that's why the conscript gives extra resources and crown of Sar Issus.
In the meantime I found some time to test the balance, positive so far  The map will soon be ready to be updated in a final version, if you see something amiss contact me. And I don't want to hear any comments dungeon >> necro, I managed to win sq79 with necro With the elemental artifacts banned dungeon is pretty balanced even vs sylvan. What needs some more testing is fortress vs stronghold.

About that Bug with Razzak, it seems that he actually starts with Pendant of Mastery, and that's why I saw Expert Artificier... but why does he start with that artifact?

Necros and warlocks have 50 of each resource, those are meant for the spell shop.
