I think you are a bit early since Elvin hasn't yet formally "opend" this new season .
EDIT: Eventhough I really would like to see that replay^^. Actually you can just go to a site such as mediafire and upload it there (creating an account takes 2 minutes). It's very simple.

Oops well I hope it will be counted, I assumed since pairs were named it was FFA on finding your opponent 
I really can't join those rapid share type commmunities from here, I play from my office (work) and those sites are full of garbage I just don't want on my desktop

There's not really a specific counter to mass confusion though, other than mass cleansing which is area affect and unlikely to get everyone. Also that assumes the enemy hero turn is soon. And also, the familiars will gobble up mana for low knowledge opponents which limits their ability to continuously mass cleanse. So while what you say is true for light magic users, its still worth I think.
Against dungeon I still like dark for mass confusion/mass slow. Your high speed, high intiative, high attack units can do a world of hurt in a short time, especially if the enemy units can't retaliate at all and/or are slowed 25% or more. True, your real source of pain is the hero but you already start with Cloak of Sylvanna, if you grab some cold defense and lightning defense ring, plus protection, you and your gated units should do enough damage to the units to survive. Pit Fiends are good even against irresistable magic I find with the above.

Yes, I downloaded them fine, going to check them now
EDIT: I've seen them, nice replays.
But what was with Rain of Arrows instead of casting Mass Spells?
Also, I have question: does Deadly Shot kill the Phoenix in one shot? Because if so, I have seen many replays where Sylvan could get rid of the Phoenix but it didn't. And this is a huge mistake

Response to rain of arrows question..
He made an error and clicked rain before imbue and so it shot those favored enemies.
Deadeye shot I assume is what your reffering to and no it does not kill the phoenix right away, it adds +3 hero levels to the attack from the hero, and if the target is in its favored enemy list I beleive it can critically hit and cause serious dmg. But no its not a banish or cold death like effect.

Then don't use teleport assault. I assure you when it comes to Inferno I've considered every conceivable option to try to make them not suck, and I'm just saying I like TA in some cases. I say this after physically testing it out many times so I doubt you're going to change my mind.

Sorry, I should have named a deadline but no worries as the results will count. Of those factions only academy will be slightly changed but not enough that I'd ask you to replay it. I will have a look and comment back, glad you picked inferno
I will have to ask the contestants that they don't start any more games, I will take a couple more days to check some things before posting the final version.

About that Deadeye Shot, too bad, it would be a perfect counter against uber Phoenixes.
On another note:
Aww geez, my comp crashed again. The problem is back. I hope I'll fix it in time (and catch the thief, so to speak, not only recover the stolen money)

The first match was quite interesting, that initial charge was painful. Haven vs inferno is consider a bit chaotic, placement and starting atb can change everything. For one my nightmares often have to charge the champions that may or not trigger fear/luck. Cerberi may not be able to hit a good formation and the griffins' dive may get morale and hit the succubi before they act. Another thing is if haven will get vampirism, cleansing or magical immunity, looks like kaido was unlucky in getting a puppet counter.
In academy vs sylvan the latter had the druids/arcanes/sprites convently packed for a fireball and then there was that misclick.. I have never discussed that issue before, I leave offering reloads up to your personal judgement but I would certainly ask for exact placement and same moves until that point. One mistake was when the dancers uncovered the titan corpse, as for the phoenix I think I would have taken my chances for a blinding attack as failure would just mean a delayed defeat.

I'm happy to give you the benefit of the doubt and try it out myself, if you say it works then that's worth a shot. I'll see if I can make it work...any faction in particular its most effective against? I assume dungeon?

Well not positive. All I know is that when I connect hamachi it boots my data card connection. Though the card downloads at broadband speed the computer considers it a dialup.
