Shattered ooc
It was just called..The Sundering. A devestating war that ripped the world apart, leaving little but dust and death. Most of the old ways were lost. Even the great artifacts were shattered in The Sundering. All the great and powerful people were killed, or faded from the land. The land is mostly desert now with the few remaining people all struggling to survive. The world is dying, and a call goes out to those strong enough and brave enough to forge a new world. Maybe even reclaim some of the glory that was lost.
Races - All the basic Fantasy races, but keep in mind that 'magic' is failing currently.
Classes - Again any. However, 'casters' (Druids, Mages, Clerics, etc) will not be able to count on their spells all the time. All magic is becoming wilder and harder to control.
Alignments - Any. Please no 'insane' or powergamers  .
If enough is interested please sign up. This is more true D&D then most. So the GM (that is me) will be guiding most of the action.

Well, actually, this is the perfect excuse to try out a spellcaster. 
I'll be a Wizard...once I figure out what my preferred/prohibited schools will be.

Race: Elf (duh )

Hmm, this sounds interesting, I'm not sure if I'll join but if yes then I would be a Dark Elf Assassin (Prestige Classes are allowed, no?)

Better to be a Monk since otherwise you'll have to pick Weapon Proficiency Exotic to be able to use Shurikens

Doesn't have to be shurikens. Darts, throwing axes, daggers, etc would do. Would just be shurikens, if a monk.

Actually this is not a 'save the world' believe it or not. This is what is called a Survival RPG. Most of the 'bad guys' are just as bad off, if not worse then the 'good' guys. The dangers are more along the lines of starving then some guy bent on controlling the world.
As I said all classes/races are allowed..though you have to earn prestige classes later. Keep in mind that elves (especially dark elves) have a bit rougher time then some as the magic that makes up their exsistance is failing.
Edit : Now that doesn't mean that there won't be battles. Some of the 'forgotten' creatures that the surface dwellers drove to near extinction at one time might just be a bit hungry...for revenge.

Cool . Oh and Monk/Rogue is fine with me. Keep in mind that multiclass split their exp between two classes and thus level a bit slower.
