Well Lex you seem kinda obsessed with QPs, look at how many times you mentioned them in your post 
You remind me of myself when I had that 20 post limit, but lately I kinda stopped caring completely about QPs. Sure if I get them it's nice but there are a lot more important things in life than a little red star image/count (unless we're talking about the annoying 20 post limit  - the flood protect never annoyed me anyway)
And as much as I loved QPs in my early days, I never bragged about them, and much less will I brag now when I don't care anymore.
And grats for a full year on HC. Does it feel special?

If someone makes a thread because they're proud of something is it really so important to say something negative to try to make them feel badly about it?
I guess you won't care about the penalty, since its just a QP anyways.
File this one under insult, or provocation - both work.

EDIT TO MAKE IT EASIER: I DONT SEE MUCH REASON FOR THE PENALTY, BUT I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY IT HAD BEEN GIVEN.

I have no idea what you're saying - I see the words, but no sense registers.
We've been letting too many people get away with these constant digs at each other using the as some sort of makeshift shield - its time to stop it.
If we continue to let everyone who's been doing it get away with it, it's just going to keep up until the passive agressive nonsense becomes all that HC is

Mmmpf, yeah, but that also means that the things they say should be taken lightly. Yet I think they do it to indeed avoid a penalty.

In your opinion, but these types of posts are all too common - taking shots at people for whatever reason just to escalate yet another arguement.
I can absolutely understand why people would look at this and thinks its unfair, but that doesn't mean I'll agree with you.
For those of you who remember Sir_Stiven, you'll remember that he did so much great stuff here that the bad was constantly left unchecked - then what happens? After the same type of behaviour he'd been doing for years finally gets enough people to rally against him, he gets banned for his conduct and we have a banned member with a billion QP's and 7 out of 10 new members asking why and how that could happen.
Its too common that members with a lot of red stars feel that they've been given carte blanche to say whatever they'd like without anyone raising an eyebrow over it - but the reality i that people do get upset and they do complain..
So what do we do in HQ? Do we let the one with the shinies continue as they were because a high quality count now gives them that right - all the while ignoring the people who are unhappy about it?
When stivengate went down, I always felt that it was failing on the part of the moderators to act on his actions before it became out of control. I'm not going to do it again.
Besides, its one penalty - and she said she really doesn't care about them anymore anyways.

Your comparison to Sir_Stiven is really inaccurate. Stiven would be much more serious when he'd insult people. When he would try, you could tell that he meant it. Asheera, though, was just joking lightly.
