I'm not sure what anarachy, but I just found out this awesome site called wikipedia. Though I'm not exactly sure what you meant, if you meant something about WoW, I didn't even bother to click on the link.

So it means that there are no laws and thus chaos? And the absence of a national leader.
How does this relate to atheism? -.-
Dargoth also said that if 99% of the world knew magic in a fantasy world there would be total anarachy and thats why I asked what it meant.
I guess when people relate atheism to anarachy they think of the law problem. But the societys laws today are not built on religion, but on ancient greek philosophes and laws etc.

Anarchy means no government.
And Dagoth probably meant that if everyone was a magic user, everyone would be self declared emperor of the world battling other self declared emperors of the world

Anarchy is the opposit of Order. Pretty much everybody for themselves, without rules or guidlines. I am not sure though that a world with all magic users would have nothing but Anarchy.

We all know what it is to be human. Few can use power with prudence or with regard to other people's wellbeing. It can easily bring arrogance and selfishness and people are oh so easily corruptible. And it's funny what people can do for more power or to keep others from taking theirs.

Now, let's say we bring in something random and destructive as magic into the field...
Defense against magic is rare, so let's say magic is something emotional... The amount of passion murders and hate crimes would go through the roof. Noone would have any control = total anarchy.

Pure anarchists are one of the top of my 'Hate' list. Useless mohawk wearing... [insert fancy word here]. The tongue doesn't roll to call them beasts, because even beasts have at least some goverment(alpha males for example)

Well anarchy doesn't mean every one for themselves...anarchy is mainly everyone for the other...
Also no goverment and equality...
I think that anarchy can be described in 3 words:Love, equality, freedom...Like christianity(real christianity)
But we use one word for two things...
Firstly there is anarchy as chaos
Secondly there is anarchy as a philosophy
Dagoth spoke about chaos, the wikipedia article speaks about the philosophy
Many times we confuss these words.Thus making every hoolighan an anarchist and thus misunderstanding the anarcist philosophy...
And yes the best society that could ever been made would be an anarchic society...
