Iceland should have won ... but at least the ended number 2 ... and the HORRIBLE Turkish song ended out of top 3 (how could it even make top 5, not to mention be #2 halfway through the show?)!

What will happen now?

Congratulations Norway

I wasn't expected your win,but you were great.Turkey and Iceland were good too.Azerbaijan was a surprise, but a good one IMO.

Sorry for Finland,I think they deserved to be in "top 10",they were my favourites, but I don't understand why they were the last

I expected much more from Germany and Russia

Finland were to generic and the singer could not... sing. If you sing that kind of music it must be pre-recorded.

How he (Finland's singer) can't sing???

First, that's not true. His voice looked fine for me,and fine for the song
Second, why so generic? It was a Dance-House one an really unique genre for Eurovision
Third, they deserved to be in top 10,not the last. There were worse and uglier songs in the final

Well, I think it sucked for Eurovision.

Also Russia is the worst country of the year due to several reasons. Eurovision conspiracy!

Bah, who cares anyway?

For once, the standard was quite high this year Norway was not my personal favourite, but a worthy winner still. Iceland is an excellent runner-up too.

Congratulations Norway!
The opening show in Moscow was very dramatic with Dima Bilan running through walls, and his jacket... Wow. Can Norway beat this?
The Russian fire stick wavers were ten times faster than the Finnish ones. The hanging pools were very strange but cool, in a way.
I didn't really get what was so great about Norway's song, but it must be very good since it won. Did you vote? Why did you like it?
I had no favourite though several of the ballads were good. I voted on Sweden since I'm a Swede in the UK (just because I could ), but despite my efforts the UK gave no points to Sweden. Our song was relatively good but difficult, so we would probably have won if people had heard it more before the contest. I didn't like it at first but it gets better.
Sweden, disguised as Azerbaijan, actually got very good results. Arash and the songwriters are from Sweden. The song was ok but very repetitive and should have been shorter. "Always on my mind", all the time. Arash is a megastar in the East and in Central Asia, I've heard. He's the only non-Russian who have won a Russian Grammy.

Lexxan, The Enigma of 2009.

Someone said that you know you are in Eurovision when you learn that Dum Tek Tek means Boom Bang Bang (Eurovision = nonsens).
