Yes, but Snow Latina will come only in 2025 now. They got hid of the 'diverse casting' for the dwarves, and made some hair-standing macabre CGI dwarves instead who seem to have been sent from the devil's own nightmarish designs.
But yes, M-She-U is failing, and they still want to double down the agenda on that. This ... pigheadedness is kind of alarming. There is, indeed, something behind the curtains happening everywhere, and in the entertainment industry, it is no different.
Ah, yes, and the Rachel Zegler's effect is coming for the next Hunger Games, it seems.

Some of the decisions may be because of psuedoscience. Like the idea that if they lean heavily into lots and lots of (unhappy) female characters, that this will open up a big new base of moviegoers and source of revenue for the company. The director seemed to suggest such.
Except there are very, very minor obstacles standing in the way of that goal, i.e. biology and neurology. The #1 base of comic book action movies is men, particularly young men. Also, women aren't tripping over their own feet to watch it. For the most part, they don't care. The appeal of Marvel has collapsed because they lost sight of this.
I'm not sure how much Disney is going to reverse course though, because in the past 10 years they have become pretty ideological, and ideology & common sense don't normally mix. It's sort of an oil & water type of relationship. I guess we'll see how heavily they edit Snow White to try to save the movie. The edits mean the cost to produce the movie is going up though. Way up.

I’m not suggesting this is not a factor at all but dont you think the basic reason is rather simply that enough is enough?
There was an era of Wild West movies, there was an era of musicals, there was an era of action heroes, coming of age high school comedies etc. etc. They all came to an end. Why should the super-hero genre be any different. I’m not saying they will cease to exist, neither did Westerns or musicals. But there is a limit to how often you can release a formulaic block buster and it appeals to masses the way it did 50 times before.

Not really, if it sells well - and until present times it sold very well, the common sense asks for keeping the formula.
It recalls me all those feminist ladies snowing over women athletes not being payed equally to men, but then can't cite a single female name from national football team, because they just don't watch it. And when you don't watch and are not interested in, there is no extra money to distribute, that's as simple.

Guardians 3 is post-Endgame and it very well.
There are people in high places who are sincerely convinced based on some of the pseudoscience now floating around in the rich West that if they market and represent certain characters (unhappy women) in certain movies, that this will open up a huge new audience into male-dominated genres, which is absurdity. Almost all of the women in a movie theater with a comic book action movie are there because they are with a boyfriend or a husband or a son. If they do on occasion show up by themselves, it's almost certainly because they have a crush on Tony Stark or Thor. This is a fact, but since facts are offensive now, Disney doesn't like to talk about it, so instead they lose tons of money.
Women that go for other reasons do exist. They don't exist in large numbers.
You don't open up a bakery in a neighborhood of people who are gluten-intolerant. You don't ignore young males when you sell comic book movies.
And yes, sports are another good example. It is very hard to sell tickets to a women's basketball game. Women do not show up.

I don't mind seeing women getting out from stereotypes if it's done well and and is inspiring. I liked Wonder Woman because Gal Gadot was so hot, did intense physical training so some realism was still in, but also very important - she shut up about ideology.
While Brie Larson is going on anti-male rants every-time she has the opportunity, so why would that make males - the prime buyer of action movies, be interested in?

Well, I think of myself as a sample. I am a male, not an ethnic or gender minority in my society, I loved and collected Marvel comics as a kid, I like watching stuff that’s not to take so seriously, I am open to the idea that a super-hero movie can be good, I have free time, I have all the streaming platforms. I simply dont watch them anymore if there is anything, but seriously anything else to watch. I dont care about women leads or diversity etc, I dont watch because I’m fed up with 10 super hero movies a year and the 657th reboot of Batman or Spider-Man. (Except the multiverse animations, those were really creative, original and capturing both in terms of story and visuals.)
Why do you think the other genres come to an end then, politics again?
(Btw, if you still have Netflix, watch “Bill Burr Live at Red Rock” great gig with jokes about women not watching sports and then objecting, the part about Sean Connery also cracked me up.)

Depends on the media, i.e. the communication.. What I know Noora Raty.. When she can't get in team, her headcoach rejected.. Another Brittney Griner in Russia, now free due to Viktor Boutin.. Saudi-Arabia wanted and succeeded to female football team, when their the king Abdullah died in 2015.. But yes we see that media joined things/matters.. So a normal news aren't here.. Depends on sport, Finnish media speaks woman skiing, Brazilian media for female volleyball, etc Why? Number of audience! I think so.. If so little, and can't get a income or useful..

I can't think of western or musical genre movies just collapsing within a few years, which is what is happening with The Marvels. The sequel didn't bring in a diminished return. It collapsed. It's going to lose money. Because you can't sell movies when you hate the people who are giving you money. If you don't like men because we're pigs, that's fine. The transparency is a good thing. But then if you want to sell something, pick a different genre beside action comic book movies.
The main actress has baggage from something. I don't know what. She was abused. She was indoctrinated as a youth. She went down the wrong rabbit hole on the internet because that is where the algorithms took her. But she's not a seller.

A reminder that Brie Larson had a good idea regarding how interested the audience was 
Here is a video why Disney is fine with their film empire bombing, well worth watching. It's a long one so if you want the short version, start watching around 29 mins. Honestly pretty depressing but it seems to explain the mess so far. But even so, I'd be surprised if this keeps up indefinitely.

Last movie I watched: Mean Girls (2004)
Pretty funny writing with a smooth moving plot, surprisingly good for a comedy with teenagers.
It reminded me why I disliked to be a teenager and the highschool experience in particular. The backstabbing "friendships", cliques, relationships and rollercoaster of emotions of that period in life were all played well for laughs.
Great to just sit back, relax and enjoy a film like this one. 9/10

The physical main Disney theme park in Florida (i.e. hell) is down in customers. The jungle in southern Orlando had to be turned into a concrete superhighway because of all of the cars. The atmosphere of Mother Earth cried out in pain and she absorbed the excess carbon. But now the traffic is not so bad anymore. That is because the brand has been self-flagellating for several years. The executives lost sight of basic common sense things to know with running a business.

Mainstream movies are crap anyway. Jessica Jones was the real female blockbuster superhero show.
And a show no one knows, but beats most superhero bull?

Apparently, Hunger Games prequel will flop.
It's kind of funny, now that I think of it, I was not quite aware of movies being released back in the day. Sometimes, people would spring out of thin air to ask me if I would be watching one of those blockbusters, and even then, I didn't feel like there was much going on at the movies at all, not to really make me pay attention to it.
Now, there's absolutely nothing to look forward to and I sort of miss the feeling of going to the movies out of curiosity and watch something unplanned for, because 75% of times, something could catch my attention and even entertain me for the day.
Today, it's impossible doing that.
