Encryption works with analog signals as well, though a bit more complicated (and usually is very simple). You just have to pass it through an encryption filter. Likewise you can pass brain signals through an encryption filter, why not?

Everyone knows about traditional luck - it comes in two flavors: good and bad. Good luck decreases the probability of bad things and increases the probability of good things. Bad luck is the opposite.
Awhile ago I invented two new flavors of luck: Order luck and Chaos luck. Order luck decreases the probability of improbable events and increases the probability of probable events. Chaos luck decreases the probability of probable events and increases the probability of improbable events.
For a regular person, order luck wouldn't be so bad - it would be unbelievably boring, but at least you'd have a normal life.
But chaos luck would be nerve-wracking 24/7. You never know if an airplane is going to fall out of the sky on you, you just have to hope that another one comes and knocks out of the way. Maybe you win the lottery a few times and buy yourself a heck of a lot of insurance, but what if your policy accidentally gets deleted? There's an unlimited number of events that could happen to you, and no way to predict them; as soon as you try, the situation changes around on you.
