Two more days, huh? Slightly less than 48 hours now...
What can I say? Good luck, it's sad to see you go, hope you'll come back soon... kinda generic and boring, huh? Here's one, not too original as well, but still: easy service, that's probably the best thing a fresh recruit can ask for - nice (relatively) commanders, good people in your squad, comfortable weather... that's what I hope you'll have, especially on the basic training step.
You know, you were one of the first HC members I've "noticed". I mentioned before that LHW was the first HC thread I seriously read and when I finally registered all its participants automatically drew my attention. Pretty soon, though, I knew that the posts with your black (back then), shiny (as always) head on the left of them are fun to read regardless of the topic.
You know how everyone here remembers his early HC days as the golden era? Well, my golden era was defined by you, Pan, kooka, Iris, TnT and many others who are now long gone. And now it seems that you will join them, at least for a while... not that you've been too active these past months. I'm not gonna lie and say that your leaving/inactivity is/was the end of an era or that I was particularly sad when you stopped posting a while ago, but I did smile every time you returned and hopefully will again in the future.
What else is there to say? I never met you in person and probably never will, but if you're anything like you show yourself here then you should do fine in the army. From my short experience and the tales of my friends the two most important characteristics you need are confidence and social skills. The more friends you'll have the easier it will be to get through your troubles together and the less you let people trample you, regardless of their rank, the less likely they are to do so (basic training is a VERY notable EXCEPTION from this rule).
Well, I guess that's it... goodbye and good luck, don't forget to come back in four months.
P.S. There's something that needs to be said and it seems that no one but me has the guts to say it - we (members of HC) are sorry that we "took away" the penalty spree fashion. I personally tried to get it back, but it seems I was too late. Hopefully, I'll manage to do something before your return.

I leave tomorrow for Basic Training. So this is my last post for at least three to four months. I'll miss you all and thanks to everyone here.

I hope u dont get to be in a war. The service is great for character and dicipline but never forget those mighty principles you have learnt playing heroes and dont let anyone use u as a fodder.

Well, my brother officially left around 7:51 pm eastern yesterday. :/
As hard as it is to admit....I really do miss him already. I'm hoping my parents and I can go to Georgia in November for his graduation from basic training. I'll try and keep you all updated when I hear from him. (he promised me some letters).
