Alex walked around the manor, searching for his victims. He stumbled upon the banquet hall, from where chatting and laughter was heard. He silently opened the door and sneaked near one of the guests. He lifted up a hunting knife and sliced his throat, and killed several others with mental razors, tossing their bodyparts around the room. Everyone started panicing. Alex moved around trying to hit any of them. Several guards came to aid the guests. Alex charged straight towards them, inflicting deadly wounds using his knife. Each of their throats or heads were full of gruesome tears, letting the blood stream like a raging mountain river. Seeing guards dropping dead with fatal wounds in their heads, the guests paniced even more. Alex decloaked himself. One of the guests tried to hit him from behind, but Alex hitted him in the stomach with his elbow. The man spat out some blood and collapsed. Alex stepped on his head and crushed it. Alex smiled viciously, and set the several other guests on fire. The hall was filled with screams and the stench of burning flesh. Alex felt the headache returning and turned to the three remaining people, a woman in her mid fifties, and two girls in their teens. He impaled the girls with the energy blades, and tore the woman's head in two. A magnificient persian rug and a fine magohany dining table were ruined by fire. Alex grabbed a beef steak and a glass of red vine from the late 23rd century. He has killed his targets, and now the only remaining problem was to get out of here. Alex noticed a siver pendant with a star saphire in it.
- I'll keep you as a trophy.- Said Alex, as the took off the jewel from the corpse of mrs. Witkinson.

((Baal's room))
*Knock, knock* - somebody knocked the door of Baal's room.
"Come in" - Baal said loudly. The door opened and Baal saw John and Geist right after him.
"Good evening" - John said.
"Hi John, nice to meet you again. Oh Geist you are also here. So..." - Then Baal paused - "Oh dumb me, sorry, you don't know each other. Terra, Teira this is John Strongarm. John this is Terra and this is Teira. You all know Geist."
"Twins or clones?" - John asked.
"Twins!" - they both replied together.
"Oh, sorry, anyway its a plessure to me."
"And for us" - Teira said.
"Closer to job, Ben said you want something from me."
"Yes its true. Listen. To be laconical..., perhaps you already know all that muddle with machines from Ben, so we three were sent on a mission to Neptune library to investigate something new. Results. First: we found this" - Baal took out the sheet with the prophecy from the drawer and gave it to John. John attentively read and then gave it to Geist. After Geist read it was obvious that became a bit nervous. He wavied whether to say something or not but he remained silent for now. Then Baal continued:
"Second: girls found middleage picture... to be exact photo of the picture with the exact copy of Jorn - one of GRs on it. He holds the sword and stands near some middleage castle. And this all is very strange, cause I don't believe in any kind concatenation of circumstances." - Now expression on the face of Geist became even more surprised, but he continued listening silently. "And the third, final and the main: John, if you remember Abby, Abby Mynx - she said we could find something similar to machines, we saw, in the Federation Vault under lock but we need to know where it is and who have the key? I hope you know it, so we would be very appreciated if you help."

- Oh my GOD!- shouted one of the guards after seeing the massacred people and Alex who sitting behind a charred magohany dining table and was calmly finishing his vine.
- Ahh... Fresh meat. I will grant you a swift but painfull journey to hell.
- We're warning you! Put your hands where we can see...- an explosion tore apart the guard, and injured many of his colleagues. Alex telekinetically pulled the other pins of their grenades. These guards were clearly patrolling the outside, as their clothing was wet. The corridor was turned into a sick slaughterhouse, body parts and blood splatters lying everywhere. Alex stealthed again, and went down to the basement. In there he planted C4 charges on the propane boiler and gas tanks. He turned on the gas tanks, emptied several white-spirit canisters and quickly fled the manor, but not before he grabbed valuable data and several jewels. He walked out of the manor into the calm after rainstorm night, reached the safe range and detonated the explosives.
- Chleb za chleb, krovj za krovj comrade.- he said an old russian expression and lighted up a cigar. He looked at the burning manor for a while, and walked away to his vessel.

Geist listened intently until he was almost completely certain of his suspicions. He then said, "Baal, I think I know what was behind the attack...you see...a very long time ago, I knew Jorn...we partnered up against an entity that may have been behind the attack. We need to ask Jorn about it more though."

The experience was weird. All around Emily, it was as if multiple segments of time had converged into this one moment. Things and people that were not meant to be there were there. She attempted to move, but she could not. At least, not willingly. It was almost as if time didn't know what to do with her. She was stuck in some sort of hole in time she could never escape from.
Struggling to free herself from this hole, Emily continued in attempting to maneuver herself out, but success was not achieved. She ended up in a position being healed by Jorn in some peculiar manner. He ended up fainting upon the floor in the end. She attempted to heal him, but she was still unable to move herself in any way she wanted. She began to wonder if he was dead, since she couldn't use her empathy powers on him, but she then recalled that she couldn't even do so in the past.
Suddenly, Emily's vision blurs, then slowly returns to normal. Neither Ben or Jorn were around. Her arm was still healed, though with the scar. Emily was quite puzzled by the whole situation. She began to wonder if her device had done something strange to her. She shrugged it off, and started walking to where the Ben had told her she should go to deal with Martica. Turns out, he passed on relevant information.

"Oh Ben, oh Benny Boy..." a voice echos down the halls. The sound of high heels can be heard. "Now where did that old fogey get to? Martica, locate Old Ben." After no reply. "Martica?" again no reply. The person sighs.
She continues to walk around until she finds somebody who knows where Ben is hiding.

John is deep in thought, and doesn't answer quickly. "Yes, I know of a couple of vaults where we keep...interesting things. I also know of the computer you speak of, but I will be honest. Our absolute best minds have been working years on the thing and can not make heads or tails of it. No power source, hide is near invulnerable so we havn't even been able to look inside. They are still affected by EMP, which also makes very little sense."

Alex smiled again. Then he dialed up another number.
- Do you bloody idiots know what time is it?- an old man in his early seventies apeared in a holovisor.
- How is your vacation Walter? I see you're as full of energy as always.
- Oh, mr Alexander, it's you. Sorry, but I didn't recognised you. I am deeply sorry for your losses. My heart is broken from such sadness.
- It was a sad day Walter. But at least I have you.
- Yes, indeed. What troubles your mind?

- Yes, but not in such way. I'd rather see you at the noon, today. You're still visiting Vanessa?

Alex smiled.
- I always liked her desserts. I'll bring another guest or two. Is it alright?

Alex landed his craft. The sun was already rising, and early songbirds were chirping. He found the mercs already up, and Udirah and Bishop were sitting in the lounge, locked in thought over a chess board.
- Seems to me that played all night. And gramps here only showed the figures value and how they move.- Said Psycho.- they started shortly before you left to London. It seems that it's their 4th game.
- How long it lasts?
- For nine hours. Seriously.
- Checkmate Udirah.- Said Bishop.- Great game.
- Indeed it was. Achieved fair victory you have. Done well. But defeat you someday I will.
- We'll see.- The duo went outside.
- Heh, at least the elderly are enjoying themselves. Bishop sure has changed.- Said Alex.- Where's Michelle?
- Eating I guess. I suggest you do the same. If you hurry you may still get some.
Alex went to the kitchen, where the rest of the gang was eating. The odor of fresh bread and omelet reminded him that he hasn't bitten anything in a while.
- Alex?
- Yes Michelle?
- I thought about your offer.
- So? Let's hear it.- Said Alex after grabbing a few toasts.

Geist searched around the base by teleporting into each room he would expect Jorn to be. Eventually he found Jorn in the training room, practing his skills with the blade.
"Jorn," said Geist, getting his attention, "Do you remember me, Geist?"
Jorn raised his eyebrow and replied, "Yeah... its not hard to forget a random person jumping into our battle and helping us out a bit."
"No! I mean-"
All of the sudden Teira popped up behind Geist and said, "Hey Geist! John, Baal, and my sister went off to look into whatever y'all were talking about. I'm staying around to help you."
"Oh, uhhh...thanks, ummm..."
"Teira."
"Right, now Jorn, care to explain about the demon we hunted back in the day?"
Jorn at Geist oddly and said, " That was you?!"

Jorn stoped what he was doing and looked at Geist.
Jorn replys "Back in what day?"
Geist pulls out a picture and shows it to Jorn.Jorn takes the picture and takes a look at it.
Jorn replys "Yes,That was i back in my day.Before I became a Vampire.When i was still a Paladin.So what do you want to know?
Jorn looks at Geist.Just then Geist was joined with a lovely looking female.
Geist replys "what about the demon?"
Jorn replys "Which demon, i have fought agaist many demons in my time including a Arch Devil Named Asmodeus.That was about 3400 years ago.
Geist replys "That would make you?"
Jorn replys "That won't make me nothing.Look i am only 27 years old in human years.
The castle in the picture is called Castle La' Femm and it's a time machine one of it many abilities.I have been a Vampire for about 20 years.so i am actuly 47 years old. Can we move on please?"
Jorn looks at Geist
Geist says nothing.
Teira replys " You don't look that old to me."
Jorn gives her a strange.
Jorn replys "Thanks i think...Anyhow Asmodeus is back and he is not alone.He has teamed up with a nasty over sized computer that is hell bent on becoming the next god.What i mean by over sized it's as big as a planet.Right now at this moment Ol'Azzy has only has enough power to be a demon.So they made a deal with each other Azzy gets the souls he needs and the computer gets the flesh it needs."
Both Geist and Teria reply at the same time "What about the sowrd?"
Jorn replys "The sword is a Holy Advenger sword.Some say blessed by the gods themselfs.Only a paladin can use it to it's full power.I am not a paladin anymore.I used up the last of my abilities to heal Emily.I have some good news and some bad news for you.Yes i still have the sword.That is the good news."
Geist replys "And the bad?"
Jorn replys "The new paladin will come to me..The Sword will call to him or her and bring him or her to me.But i can't just give him or her the sword as much as i like to. They have to earn the sword from me.They are going to have to beat me for the sword."
Geist replys " Is that all?"
Jorn replays " No..here's the worst news the longer we wait,The stronger they can become.The more souls Azzy can get the more powerful azzy can become.And they don't have to lift a finger to do it.Time is not on our side.

After Teira has left the room, Baal just came closer to John and said:
"If thats all John, then we should depart immediately. Show us the way." He felt some impatiency and will to go like someone who was sitting in a jail for 10 years and got amnesty.
Right after that Terra stood up, so Baal again admired her well-developed figure.

"Ok." John says. He pulls out a little remote looking thing and clicks it. You are all 'beamed' aboard his ship. Which..is very interesting. It is made of something that looks like crystal, in the shape of a dragon. The ship looks very..fragile. What is a bit more disorienting is the fact that it is completely see through. You can see everything as the ship zooms through space.
It takes you a lot less time then you would think to arrive to your destination. You are teleported down. You pass a huge ammount of security and security check points. You are searched, searched again, and scanned dozens of times. Even John is subjected to this. About the second security check point, you feel your 'mutant' powers just vanish. Some sort of mutant ability supression field must be in place.
Whatever is in this place, they want to make sure that it STAYS here.
You pass dozens of rooms that have danger signs on them, some with so much security that you think that the Federation Researve has light security compaired. Finally you come to a door.
It is also heavily guarded, and there is about a dozen danger signs on it. One of the guards states "Any electronical, mechanical, metalic, or similar objects must stay OUTSIDE. Please place all such objects there." he points to a receptacle.
John takes off his mechanical arm and places it in the receptacle. "You don't go further until you comply. Not even I get in with anything."

"Clear, looks like this place stores 'something' veery important. I have never seen such a security. Anyway I don't carry any weapon. Ice is allowed, I hope." - Baal smiled. - "I wonder how someone with metallic plate in the skull or bone could come in." - he added.
Meanwhile Terra took off all metallic accessories and then they came in.

Inside this particular door is a very familiar looking machine. It is one of the 'spider' like ones that were spewing for the small spider machines. It is not moving and appears to be offline. "Well here it is. Found quite a bit ago actually. It was damaged by something, but we honestly have no clue what, and is 'offline'. We don't take any chances with it though. If we could figure out what damaged this one, we might understand more."
