Seeing the two guards dead, Alex sighed.

About that time, several demons materialize, grab a few of the women..and dissapear.

My time is running out, but I will be content with my prizes instead of the Staff if need be. I will also take Lastrius in exchange instead. My chambers are too quiet without her screams." Orcus' voice is heard, but he knows better then to be seen. Jorn knows that answering will be pointless, as Orcus is probably nowhere near and instead left a message with magic.

They finally tell you that she is cleared for transport.

"You know how I feel about you Baal-San." smiled Terra. "I am happy you return the feeling. I just worry about.." she shows her arm, where the 'curse' has spread to include her whole upper arm as well. "I .. do not know what is happening to me."

Jorn takes the Staff into his hands.he sees te demonds pops up grabs some of his girls and he takes a battle stance.After it's all over with he goes off looking for Lastrius.

Which is where he runs into a large problem. Lastrius was not in the Castle, never was. She lived a LONG LONG time ago. She should be dead. Long long dead. Which means no records of where she might be. However, he knows she was a guest in Sparrowflight, which like the Castle has been known to do some odd things.
Looks like he is going to have to travel to the Vale, where the Mists are that has led to Sparrowflight for countless ages. At least Sparrowflight won't try to kill him. Although 'alive' like the Castle, it is a friendly place...now as for it's inhabitents....

Not knowing a thing about these medical situations, or their devices, Kaiser feels the need to insist one of the doctors help in taking Dispair to the ship with him. So, he, again, chooses the closest doctor he can see.

They help you get her to aboard your ship. You can tell she is feeling better. "I can do this on my own! I am not an invalid!"
"Hospital policy mam, you have to be carried or in a wheel chair to leave the hospital after an incident like yours!"
She lets out a string of curses..but finally relents and you get her back to base.
Jorn -
"We can do better then that." smiles Goldy.
"Yes, you should know us by now." the others nod in agreement.
"Please hurry back to us. Prove yourself to the Castle, we miss you." they add..and suddenly Jorn is standing in the Mist..the outline of Sparrowflight can be seen.

Prior to getting to base:
"Okay. Now, since that Martica is so smart, I wonder if this thing has some of the know-how. You, ship. Take us back to the base."
At the base:
In some way that involves Kaiser not flying, or being guided through the controls, they make it back to the base. Kaiser, following what the doctors done, places Dispair into the wheelchair.
"Martica, take us to Dispair's room."
Kaiser assists her in getting into bed.
"Well, there you go. Mission finished."

he goes to the last place he knew where it was.he found the Vail a wall of fog lays across the land he goes in and it is more foggy then normal.He smells the smell of smoke.
He follows the smell for sometime when he is finaly out of the Vail h
He sees a City in ruins as if he just missed a hell of a fight.
He sees bodies laying every where he looks building are on fire.
He can smell flesh burning and the smell of blood it's stinch is almost unbarable for him to stand it.
Still he keeps looking hopeing to find someone alive in this mess.
It's not until he reaches the main castle he finds a body of a woman in full plate mail armor hold a sword.
Not just any sword but Lastrius sword he then checks her for a pulse.
She still alive and when he removes the halmet it was Lastrius herself.He put's her halment back on her and shieves her sword back into it's place.
He also finds a little girl.
She must have been protecting her.
He picks them both up and carry them back out of the Vail and back into his ship.
he takes them and put's them in the Medical Lab on his ship and waits while it tries to help them recover.
he paces the floor hoping and praying that he was not to late to save them.

The mental probing gave no usefull info. The guards just tried to keep everything calm. But Alex wasn't a very subtle guy, He even would damn everyone working in the council just get what he wants. Even though that could work, but he was forced to think about a more suitable approach. Due to venetian's accursed sexism it was even harder to do so.

Alex hears good news. The Venetian Council member is going on a trip back to Venus. Normally that would mean a horde of agents trailing her, but apparently this is a personal matter and only a small force will be guarding her. If she makes it to Venus there is no way that he will get her. One blast of a Venetian Ray Gun leave nothing left to even identify.

- Her starship is a bit bigger than "Nightwing", so it would be no problem to get it in our hangars. the problem is how to intercept it. Maybe block her way with several smaller vessels and just targert it with our tractor beam? let's just say that our plan works. Interrogating her would be the hardest part. Unless...- Alex look turned to Michelle.- You do it.

Alex was sitting in the captain's seat, commanding the leviathanic spaceship. Cruor Vult was outfitted with special mirror technology, allowing it ot remain hidden in outer space withou using extra energy.
- Spectre one, in position.
- Spectre two, in position.
- Spectre three, in position.
- Spectre four, in position.
- Spectre five, in position.
the trap was set. now all that was missing, was the prey.
- The tractor beam is ready to use sir!
- Good. Be ready. Spectres, remember, take out the engines first. Ion cannon only! we must secure that our prisoner is delivered to us alive.

Alex then turned to Michelle.
- Are you ready? Remember, we must get the information by any means necesary.
- I'll do my best.
- I know you'll do. You haven't been frightened by demons, so how could a little venetian scare you?- He laughed. Alex seemed a bit more joyfull than usual. Walter guesed that this assignment helps him forget about those events. After all it was the lack of competence that caused the massacre of Crussoe Estate. The old man somehow sensed that Alex would unquestionably wage a war on the entire federation just to find out who were the real organisers of his fmailies murder. Luckily, Alex himself thought that a war wouldn't be necessary. A full scale war that is.
