- Coward? That's what Mr Crussoe is not.- Said the guard with confidence in his voice. He was a balding man with thick waxed moustache. He talked with a slight slavic accent.
- You haven't heard of the massacre right? The entire manor was levelled down. No survivors. Several other buildings belonging to the family were destroyed too. Only this starship and an archeologic research facility on Neptune survived. What's the strangest, that the attacks were executed at the exact same moment. After this our employer doesn't trust new people much. Every new crew member was interrogated using a neuron whip. Each one of us were hand picked by him. And he doesn't take any risks that may come with a great price. I know that your people are keeping their word, yes. But mr. Crussoe didn't thought that jailing a venetian without proper equipment is wise. Esspecially after you knocked out two of our guards.
A comlink beeped and Alex's voice could be heard.
- Michailovich, bring our guest to the main lounge. Now.
- Roger that. Well- he turned to the venetian- We better get going.

- Mik...khai... Damn!- the guard's name was quite hard to pronounce for the venetian.
- Call me Piotr. Wondering why he's acting so polite all of a sudden? Sometimes he's a walking mystery even to us.- They were aboard a small hovercraft that was used as the ship's inner transportation.
- Maybe he just wants to start over. You may be first of many in a long run that received his favor. And who'd want to piss off Venus? One war was more than enough.
They arrived near the lounge. The door opened, and revealed a long dining table, and Alex's retinue sitting behind it.
- Well. Shaik is it? Sit down.- Alex pointed at a chair near him.- The dinner will be delivered shortly, but first tell me what you know about Skyblade.

- I've noted that the council members tend to spy on each other. You personally of course don't do that, but I bet that your retinue surely did. Any information is valuable. Starship strenght, retinue, schedule, strenghts and weaknesses of the individual... You get the point.
Several gold coated drones served the food and drinks.
- I personally dislike such luxury, but my dad and younger brother thought it is necessary to make a good impression.
- firstly we'll eat. Then we'll get down to business.

After dining she gets straight to business. "Oh is that all you wanted to know. I am a Venetian, we know everything there is to know about military information." she describes every last ship, personel, strength, weakness, down to the last bolt (for the ships). Offensive capabilties, defensive capabilites, holes in his security....
"We eat, breath, and sleep strategy." she shrugs.
She then goes on to tell you about the ship she is on currently weaknesses, number of personel, each of their weaknesses (including your own). She has been a prisoner the whole time, and has learned that much.
((Of course, their politicians are second only to the Royal family in skill, strength, etc. It is not a shock that she is that good))
"Before you ask, no ... I don't try to get this information. I am a Venetian, it is like breathing to us. The information comes regardless if we wish it or not."

Soon, the King's Pride arrived at the Thanatos, while Colonel Solon updated Troy upon the latest information.
"So, Tiera is dead?" asked Troy to Solon on the com.
"We think so, sir, but they weren't very clear about it." replied the Colonel.
"No matter, do you know where Baal and Terra are?"
"Elizabeth-City, New England, Earth."
"Excellent, it'd feel good to actually be on normal ground, so I'll just pick up a few things, then we'll be off."
"As you wish, sir."
"Troy, was it necessary to bring Narxas along?" asked Avon, who was sitting next to Troy, Narxas standing beside them.
"Hey, Observer wants, Observer gets, that's the rule." replied Troy as he started the landing cycle.
2 hours later, after Troy got whatever he needed, the King's Pride set out again, this time, to Earth. During the flight, Narxas explained how he got his powers.
"Well, unlike you, Troy, I was not a mutant, though I did have the recessive gene. So the Observers saw fit to use me as their guinea pig. Amaingly, nothing bad happened, except that teleporters break my forcefields and blind me momentarily. Oh, and I somehow became allergic to cats."
"Well, you better stay away from Terra then." replied Troy.
"What?"
"She's a teleporter, and somehow is very catlike. You may have a problem getting to know her. I suggest you stay in the ship."
"No, I have meds, don't worry."
"Ah, ok, we'll be there soon."

As he expected, Alex found Udirah meditating in his chamber. The old subterran then opened his eyes, and turned to Alex.
- Great storm coming is. Brother on brother will turn. Devastate and shake foundation of alliance this it will.
- What will happen?- back in the temple, Alex heard about Udirah's ability to foresight the future. He was the one who prophesied the ice age and the downfall of the human civilization centuries ago, and Alex didn't dared to doubt his teacher's words.
- Know nothing more of it I do. Clear one thing is. My people escape this won't. This know you must. Peacefull may we be, when threatened, retaliate with brute force we will.-
- I see. Well then. I was hoping that we can train a bit, it was a while since our last session.
The old subterran pointed out his tongue and sniffed the air.
- New people on board are.
- Yes, the two thirds of our operation were successful. And I learned not to judge before hearing everything.
- Good. The training starts when? Tommorow?
- Right. Let's go.

Being in roughly the same state as Dispair is currently in, and only being able to do anything about it due to his regeneration, Kaiser knew what she needed.
"Martica, get Dispair some stuff to eat and drink. Water and...something. Some soup, I think. Whatever type."
Kaiser rises from the floor, making sure Dispair was able to get to the food and water. He then turned to Gaia.
"You look better. You leaving us then?"

"It doesn't? Why am I here? They took me in, and, after a while, made me a member. And I've seen strays that looked better than me. Smelled better too, but the smell of the sewers... Well, I got used to it over time. Might have to again if these people get rid of me for some reason. Might not take as long."
Kaiser almost drifts off into thoughts of returning to the sewers, but come back to.
"Why don't you return to where you found Dispair here? Thought that was where you would be headin'."
