Angel and Jorn get back to the headquarters..but find it totally empty. Martika isn't even responding. No sign of Big Ben either.

- The traitors, if there are any, will expose themselves during the attack. There's not much harm that they can cause to this vessel anyway. I'm confindend that they won't turn on us. Besides, no one had the chance to speak with the prisoner.

An automated (not Martika's) voice informs the two that due to a malfunction..the place has to be cleared. It gives a way to contact Ben, and instructs the two to clear the area until given permission to come back in.
Apparently there is a mechanical malfunction that has affected Martika, and there is a risk of a 'catastrophic' failure (meaning she might go boom). They are working on it.

Baal was sitting alone on the glade on his way to his father somewhere at Mercury, where he was supposed to be. Baal didn't take girls in this worktrip, and he missed them a bit. The place was quiet closed but bloomy, which was not normal for Mercurian hot climate, for some time Baal even thought that this place was created by some wizards, as a rest point. Suddenly he heard a strange noize behind him, he looked around but there was nobody, then he turned straight and frightened as a shadow of person appeared in front of him. But it was Hunter.
"Hey, its me." - he said.
"Hunter, can you not play this... Nevermind, whats up?" - Baal asked.
"Kiki was right, I found him here, now I can track him."
"Good job. Show me the way."
"Okay, but we have a small problem. There are several fighters in his personal security. Approximately twenty, though that was easy for me to pass through them." - he smiled proudly.
"Not a problem, there is no need for me to hide. Lets go."
As they approached to the final location Baal noticed first rows of guardians. He turned to Hunter and said:
"Wait here, I'm quickly."
"Okay, but one more thing, when I was close to that place I felt a strange energy from inside. I don't know how to say it, but it pushes away." - Hunter warned.
"Yeah I understand, it must be that relic and this is a reason why ninjas couldn't get in."
Baal stood up and moved forward without worrying.
"Hands up!" - one of the fighters yelled.
Baal didn't pay attention and just freezed him. One by one all guardians ran out to stop Baal, but all were freezed. Only wooden door remained between him and his father, wooden door which would erase all verges between past, present and future. Baal even began feeling the energy, but it didn't push back, it attracted instead.
Few seconds of hesitating and Baal came in.

he says:" Right now..I don't know who you are..But right now i don't care..But we better hawl our tails out of here."
He hits this badge and teleports them to his ship.
He says:" Punch it..Now Lastrius!"
Lastrius does as commanded..
He says:" Sparks..Rasie Shields"
Sparks Raises the shilds...
he says:"Leina patch me to the Bossman"
she does so...
she says:"Patch completed sir."
he says:" Ok..Bossman what's going on? Where is everyone?"

- Unidentified vessel approaching! It's huge!
- So it begins- Said Alex- Warships of the Federation, stand by. Prepare to fend off anything it throws at you.
The aquilan mothership appeared on the screen. It was round witha large dome, which was made from glass like material. At it's center a large purple crystal pulsated. The mothership released several smaller, frigate sized ships. Several aquilan strike cruisers emerged from the hyperspace. The federation flagships opened fire at them.
Alex brought up the schematic of the mothership.
- The crystal is it's weakness. Destroy it, and the ship will go down on it's own. The problem is that the blasted dome is hard to punch through.

Baal entered the hut. At once he noticed the person sitting in the chair, whose back was turned towards Baal.
"I knew you'll came." - the person uttered a word, then he rotated around in his chair. - "Don't you want to come closer and hug your father?" - Jaari asked. Baal stood still and replied.
"You know, you even can't guess how many times I imagined this situation. I prayed God to live to see you, but..." - he paused trying to find correct word to say.
"What 'but'?"
"Stop behaving like everything is okay, you have stolen an artifact." - Baal said in noticeably louder voice.
"Yes, it's true, those silly demons used it as a decoration - idiots! This thing is not so simple, using it I will rule the world, no... we will rule the world. Just look at it." - he got the artifact out and showed to Baal. The beauty and energy of the artifact allured, and Ingvar reached a hand for it. Some small part of a second remained before Baal would touched the thing, when he felt some kind of enlightenment. His head was again clear.
"No!" - he shouted. - "This is a straight road to chaos and tyranny. Give me the artifact, we have to return it to redeem."
"I thought my son must be more clever." - he replied and confronted Ingvar.
Jaari pushed him back and punched few times. Baal tried to stand up, but he was floored again and again. None of his powers worked as the artifact seemed to has some kind of power suppressor. In some way Baal found an opportunity to stand up. He counterattacked and inflicted several hits. Jaari raised the artifact up and shouted:
"Obey me! On your knees!"
"Huh! This useless thingy doesn't work on mentalists of my circle." - he hit Jaari and kicked out the artifact, so it fell down few meters aside. At once few demons burst into the hut. They were so angry, that they shreded everything on their way. Though they didn't touch Baal, unlike his father.
A minute later they calmed down when noticed an artifact. The demons just stood there like they were afraid to pick it. Baal bent down over his dying father, he tried to heal him, but it was an irony - suppressor didn't allow to use healing also. In his last words Jaari summoned up a courage and apologized. Baal even didn't figure out why his parents left him, when he was a boy and how his mother died.
For some time he sat near his father's body and tried to check himself. Then he turned around and noticed the demons were still inviolable. One of them just uttered a word with a hell voice:
"A stone, it should be delivered back."
Baal just silently nodded.

Kiki turns to the demons. "No, your kind will not get this. Ever. Unless it is over my dead corpse. This is the key to Armeggeddon, the end days. It can not be destroyed, but we will guard it to the last. Go tell your masters the Riders that Kiki Toshioto now holds it. Let them come for it if they dare!"
The demons hiss and vanish with the smell of brimstone lingering. "This will only slow them down. The riders will not give up on this so easily as long as they are bound to the Prince of Lies."

The battle over the Earth was intense. Two of Federation's starships were badly damaged, and one fell down, being overrun by the Aquilan bombers. Cruor Vult assaulted the mothership, but it's weapons did mimimum damage to the dome.
- Keep firing! I want that thing crashing down into the blasted ocean!
- We're doing everything in our power to disable it.
- good. Particle and ion cannons, full charge!

You hear John's voice over the com. "NOW!" and suddenly ships start dropping out of .. wherever they were. You notice that they have Federation insignia, but each is slightly different. They start pushing back the other ships, clearing the path to the main ship. They can't hold them for long, but they seem to just keep appearing.
Jorn. At maximum speed it will take 5 hrs. Probably get there just in time for the mop up.
Baal - You get your father buried. For some reason you hear whistling. ((The famous whistling from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly for the showdown)). You see a guy wearing a cowboy hat, a long trench coat, and wearing a six shooter on his side.
"I'm sorry Pilgrim, but you and yours got somethin that belongs to me. I recon I got some collectin to do."
Kiki looks at the figure. "Death..you always did have a sense of humor, but this????"

Alex looked at the battlefield. Reinforcements provided by John were turning the tide of this battle.

The bombardment managed to crack the dome.

Baal interfered:
"What exactly do you think belong to you? Nothing here belonged to you, not belong now. One belonged to you, but you have already took him - my father." - he said with a bit bitter voice. Baal was not angry with his father anymore. He just thought he will lack his father and maybe better he wouldn't seen him in that hut. But time is irreversible.

After the mysterious disappearances of Narxas and Avon, along with their trainees, after they went to investigate the Four Horsemen, something stirred up in Base C-90. C-90 was not an official base recognized by the IDP or any of its branches. It was formed by the remnant groups that supported the Military control by the IDP and the Observers. Though seemingly leaderless, the organization is controlled by a very advanced AI named Ptolemy. However, lately, things have been changing. Ptolemy has been reduced to doing the same kind of functions as Martica, but not actually controlling the IDMS, the InterDimensional Military Syndicate. This is because of the reappearance of Troy.
When Troy supposedly "died", he escaped at the last second into an escape pod. He was then put into cold sleep and was left to drift until someone found his signal and picked him up. That someone happened to be a pirate vessel came upon him and picked him up. They sought to turn Troy into a simple slave for them, but instead, he had the crew working for him instead as he commanded the ship to Base C-90, the very base that he and the Observers worked on building. They never put any of the Syndicate's plans on a computer if it could be helped, but any computer they did use was disconnected from the web and was shortly destroyed thereafter, except for the computers that were actually placed in the base. When he got there, he found that the Observers have been killed and that the Computer god has been defeated. Troy now is seeking the favor of Omega, to gain control of the Federation and more...

The large lead ship finally is taken down with a large explosion. One of your people shout. "It got something away..looks like a starbuster!"
((Starbusters are just what they sound like. Large enough to destroy SUNS.))
It is way to fast to intercept, and it is headed straight for the Phoenix. If the Phoenix moves, the Starbuster will hit the Earth, and it will be GAME OVER. There is pretty much no way to stop the missile either.
As it nears you hear John's voice over the intercom. "Now you will see the Phoenix's true power."
The missile hits, and there is a epic sized explosions. Several ships nearby are wiped out of existence (both friendly and not)..including the Phoenix.
The whole area of space where it was hit erupts in flames. You see rainbow like shards, remains of the ship, glowing in the fire. Then..it starts to piece itself back together. As the last of the flames dies, the ship now smaller and looking brand new..is standing with it's wings spread, and you can almost hear its mighty cry despite the void of space.
Inside, you see John and his crew..all looking younger and more healthy then before. ((Remember the Phoenix is transparent almost)).
