Brock didn't understand a word anybody was saying. All this seemed weird for a pokemon contest. Still, he had never backed down for a challenge. As they walked he felt something nagging at the back of his mind. Something...and then it 'clicked' the buried memory of the body he was in. He knew his skills, and what he could do. Still no memory of this area, or anything, but he knew there would be no pokemon in this challenge.
"Well..I am more of a follower then a leader. Just point me in the direction you need me."

Abaddon looked at the list of items he and his teammates must bring.
"Something of ceremonial regnan regalia. What's regna? Pirates? Didn't the smith mentioned that the hilt was of pirate origin? It's worth to shot."
He exited the town hall, and found several of his companions.
- I believe that I may found one item from the list. Be right with you.- He ran to the smith, plotting his way to get back the hilt.

Out of curiosity, and a desire to keep the group together as much as is possible, Glenn thought it best for the group to follow the goblin to this item on the list.

The group sets out for the blacksmith. On the way, they pass a group of shady looking adventurers: one of them elbows his nearest companion and mutters something, motioning in Abbadon’s direction, but otherwise they do nothing. ((Good call Alkar.  ))
The group arrives a short time later; Jack makes to slip off to the nearby docks while the rest of the group enters the shop. The adventurers who entered earlier are gone, and except for the blacksmith (currently tending his forge) the shop is empty.

Glenn gazes around as they enter into the blacksmith's shop. He sees the weapons that are put on display.
"So, you actually noticed one of those longbows here? I would have thought that they would all be gone from a place as obvious as this."

Hearing the word stealing one of Mark's old reflexes of looking around while saying "Hey Matthew, what have I said about stealing?" shot in again. However, he could not see either Lyn, Eliwood or any of the other people who also would've said "stealing is bad" right there and then. So Mark nodded to the green-skinned one "So what is the plan?"

Being thrown in this place's prison, or even killed would be horrible for our task. Though, if you insist, I am not going to be around when you do this."

If the hilt was cheap enough, it was a buy. Otherwise it was to distract the shopkeeper later on to steal it: "Excuse me master smith, but what is the price for that hilt over there?"

The smith gets up from the forge where he’s been tending the flames, examining the head of his smithing hammer idly as he responds.
“That’s not for sale; it’s a commission. You want to buy it, talk your friend over there into parting with it,” he gestures in Abbadon’s direction. His tone is irritated as he adds to the group at large, “Do you have legitimate business here, or did you just come to rob my shop?”

"Stealing is one of the most misunderstood bad behaviors in the world.
had i not stolen the mirari for example we might all have been slaves right about now. But since the fate of the world is not in danger i wouldn't dare condone such behavior. Just telling my idiotic friends here that if that is the road you wish to go down you might as well do it right. Had they actually tried to steal something i'd bash em on the head, since in my new body that probably wouldn't kill them. and we do have legitimate business here but... My friends know what the want. Not I."

“New body?” The look the blacksmith gives Kamahl (and the rest of the group still present, to a lesser extent) tells you he can’t decide whether you’re trying to cause trouble or just crazy.

“…sure,” the blacksmith responded uneasily to Kamahl. Then to the rest of the group he added, “If you’re not going to buy anything why don’t you find something productive to do? I’m sure there’s plenty of trouble you can cause elsewhere.”

Glenn meanwhile has gotten an earful of the local gossip from the inn’s current patrons. It consists mostly of calls for food and drinks, but there are a few more interesting tidbits to be heard:
“…and did you hear? One of those adventuring groups has posted a reward for pirate things. Five hundred gold pieces! Can you imagine that?”
“…Poor Anabel…still hasn’t found her daughter yet. Probably fell into…heard they last saw her north of town…”
“…fifty gold pieces for a boat rental! And it was a bitty leaky thing too! The nerve of those grubby fisherman!”
“Can I get you anything?”
The last came from one of the serving girls, hovering at his elbow.
