How do you put units on a defensive stance, id est so that they don't chase after things, it's being a real pain and I've seen people wall things off with such a 'stance'.
Wow, searched for ages, now I looked again and found it -.- . Bob abandoning the wall so that zerglings can swarm past, o' bloody hell, what a treacherous ****.

I haven't played RTS game in nearly 4 years and that was RoTWK. And with the new changes the commands don't come up, I managed to find it in hotkeys though.

That's an EA game it should have had both.
It's just weird because both have existed since at least Age of Empires 1.

Can anyone explain to be why Mengsk is such an inapt ****. I can understand ruthless (even though I disagree), but in SC2 he's completely and utterly incompetent. Which kinda clashes with his personality, since he's supposed to be the guy who's a prodigy, intelligent, independent and hates weakness. Maybe he developed has dementia.

SC2 has a more feelgood, satirical flavor than SC1, which really comes out with the way they did the news broadcastings.
Mengsk still had some really cool moments, like the dialogue he gives at the intro cinematic. I love his deep-pitched Southern accent But yeah, they also make him look like a clown on the news. I just take the news broadcasting as sort of an out-of-game joke. I don't like the SC2 campaign as much as SC or Brood War (especially Brood War; those campaigns were just awesome), but it was still a lot of fun in its own way.

Speaking of awesome campaigns, the Legacy of the confederation and it's sequal fallen angel are amazing. I highly recommend them to everyone.
They are a lot harder than brood war and enslavers though so be warned.

SCII campaign is the best and most I enjoyed so far, with the exception of the lore part...is so damn **** predictable T_T
And HotS seems to be quite predictable as well

That's the impression I'm getting from the teaser trailers. Kerrigan takes down Mengsk and then the 2nd expansion will finally involve the hybrid and the Fallen One (I'm assuming a rogue Xel'Naga) that the circle of friends will need to unite against.

HotS is only days away, but what does it actually change about the multiplayer arena? I'll likely have to play it in order to be on equal footing with others, seeing how I've only recently started playing WoL it would be unwise to get into WoL way of playing, since it would make the eventual transition all the harder.
Also I just finished the campaign on brutal. Last mission I did on my first go (mind you I did load back twice to a mid-save due to a silly mistake that I repeated twice) but I didn't restart the whole mission a dozen times like on hard. Going to go for the brutal achievement by going back to those two choice missions and then I'm likely ready for HotS.

Protoss and Terran are a bit OP on the launch, but nothing too big imo.
Terran also got a hell of imba unit - hellbat
PS: Don't forget that HotS also add a lot of multiplayer stuff

Those Protos things with the ridiculous range look OP as hell to me. But the Zerg things that just produce units for free are awesome... Them + Infested terrans and fungles... Use a Nydus worm to get into the base... Aww yiss...
