It's good but shorter and smaller than BL2. At level 18, my group is heading into the final stretches. I think we only have about 4 boss fights left and I am uncertain if there are any more side-quests or not.
As to the classes, so far I really enjoy them. Seeing Wilhelm physically change and hearing his voice change as he installs cybernetics is a neat touch. As to the others, I've only played a bit with each of them but they are quite different and interesting. Unfortunately, heads are very rare now and in 18 hours, I've only found one of them.
The verticality of the game is a welcome addition. The low-gravity atmosphere opens up combat and the gravity slam is very useful.
The new vehicles are functional and that's all I really can say about them. As to laser weaponry, it is a great addition and I would like to see it implemented in future installments.
The new NPCs are about what you would expect. Some are interesting, others are annoying; par for the course.
The new Grinder feature is great. It really is nice being able to turn worthless green items into blues and blues into purples. I hope it is included in future games.
As it is right now, I'd only recommend it to fans of Borderlands. I don't think it has enough to offer newcomers to the series and would recommend they start with the original Borderlands first if they are interested.

Renegade X with a friend in teamspeak for almost all of the night.
EKT server has switched to no time limit for whatever stupid reason. snow them.
And matrix is always full, goddamnit.
There seems to be a large lack of either players or good servers now. Probably both.

Finally got my hands on a used Advance Wars Dual Strike. After not so good as one could assume Dark Conflict (aka Days of Ruin) I have high expectations for this one. How can a 2 year older game from the same developer look so much better?
Advance Wars/Fire Emblem series (same developer) are games which I practically treat on par with Heroes series. Both franchises have strong but easy-to-pick-up-hard-to-master game mechanics and a high level of overall deepness/replay value. While Advance Wars (probably the first one in the series to be exact) is my favorite modern-militarish themed TBS game, Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn my favorite TBS Japanese game of all time, Heroes III is my favorite fantasy TBS game of all time. In terms of raw TBS games it's hard to find sth better if you ask me... (that's why I'm so eager for every new entry in those franchises).

Days of Ruin was much better than Dual Strike in my opinion. It expanded on the abilities of the commanders and their Command unit in the field far better.
The very first advance wars had it great with the super and specialties but the ones after that made the hypers with FAR too much effectiveness which hurt the gameplay a lot.
Sami cap tactics in the original are simply brilliant. My infantry survived with 1 hp? Oh too bad, you lost

Well I must play DS some more to develop my own opinion. Though I must agree with those many opinions which say that the quirkiness of this not-so-serious war fits this franchise a bit better then DC's serious tone. And balancing aside, I think CO powers give characters more personality... CO's in DC were not memorable, but it could also be a design rather then a game mechanic problem...
And this pseudo 3D graphic looks so much better then graphic in Dark Conflict. Advance Wars is more about gameplay then graphics, but I just can't ignore this difference. DS graphics are simply more to my liking (music is also better)...

New Vegas.
Action boy x2, Jet chem, 10 Agility, gets me 145 AP.
All-American, 9,3 AP cost per shot with Fast Shot + Math Wrath.
Inject Steady for 15 guaranteed headhots in any distance in VATS. Stealth crits all over.
I know it's an easy game already but finding these OP combos is still fun.

Space Engineers with my buddy, these are two mining vesselss and two construction ships (one also dubbs as a deconstructor).
In the background on the right is the starting platform and in the middle is a not-so-soon-to-become space station. This is all in survival so that asteroid on the right is getting pretty hollow at this point
We're building it out of heavy armor (ofc) so it quadruples the iron requirement.

At the moment I'm playing Legend of Grimrock. It's a real nice throwback to the games I used to play as a kid - we're talking Eye of the Beholder or Ultimate Underworld here... or, even, Might and Magic. Actually, the new Might and Magic X is a great comparison to it.
Overall I like the game, despite a few questionable design choices. It's difficult, like Might and Magic X, but the real-time combat doesn't seem to mesh well with the old-school style of the game. The grid format, discrete incremental movement in space, and puzzle solving just screams turned-based combat. The real-time nature of the game also makes the game annoyingly difficult at times, but not in a good way - particularly with spellcasting. The icons for the spell runes are tiny, and it's very easy to misclick when you're scrambling in the heat of battle. As a result, I find myself resorting to a lot of cheap exploits of AI behavior to stay alive when the combat feels like it could be a lot more cerebral than it is. Things like running around, striking, running away, or opening a door, striking, closing the door - repeat, repeat, repeat. Some other design choices (like having to carry a torch everywhere, dealing with food) are mildly annoying because of inventory issues but they don't detract from the experience too much. Oh, and the game does give you the option of turning off automapping if you're really into that hardcore old school experience of drawing maps on graph paper, but this is one aspect of my yesteryears of gaming I'm happy not to go back to.
Thankfully the game is cheap at around $10 US, and at that price it's easily worth the money.

First (huge) disappointment with Anno 1404: world editor does not work on steam version. This is like having Heroes 3 without map editor.
Other than that, I am hooked. For one who played H3, then a bit of H4 then directly jump to Skyrim, Gothic and now Anno 1404, I find the graphics stunning. Is a game Sim City build-my-city style, yet I can move the camera to get such view:

I am currently redoin the campaign in whole Heroes V, also including expansion packs. Today I have finished Quroq's mission and in two weeks time I will finally move to Necro campaign and ultrasuperhypermegaswift Arantir (speed of his movement on map is waaay to small) but otherwise I love ToE campaign. Alternative uprades, Memory masters, easier access to Supreme abilities, simply wonderful.

What's your point? Making fun of me for playing a 2 year old game?
I don't have much time to play computer/console games any more. I have a big back log. I'm playing Grimrock now because the 2nd one just came out. I like it, thought I'd share.

You asking me what's my point in posting what I play atm in the "What are you playing atm" thread?
Just posted as a continuation, and perhaps as a self facepalm moment at myself. No need to get so defensive pops, lol.

Your post is structured in that way where it seems like common sense that you are trying to make a point to Cor.
"meanwhile"- directly links your post to Cor's cause you know it's a connective, and the "..." suggests some kind of resentment/disappointment. So don't play dumb.

I said that it was as a continuation. And I fail to see how anything I wrote can be interpreted as me making fun of him, since he plays a newer game from 2012, and I'm playing Heroes from 1995, which was exactly my point. Facepalm at myself, how could you not get that?
