If I understood you right:
Open "Material Editor" (ME) after import. Chose material by dropper (pipette), go to "Maps" (scroll down ME), Find dds-file what you need and set it as "Base"-texture.

It is possible that you need to take weapons textures from other folders. Just compile in one folder all textures from CIV (search for all .dds) then you have the choice. I use for CiV units textures from Pirates (Sid Meyer), heh.

Folder "Amazon_Swordsman_Asian" have a 4 DDS-textures. If you load one texture, but model not fully textured, apply this or other texture to other parts, which not textured.

2 T2.
Use pipette not at once if you have untextured parts. One texture loaded? Load next texture, click pipette in untextured part of model and set texture for it.

0) Model imported, but without texture.
1) Open ME, click pipette, click on body, goto "Maps", set to "Base" texture "Amazon_Swordsman_Asian_128.dds".
2) Click pipette, click on head, goto "Maps", set to "Base" "amazon_swordsman_asian_head_128.dds".
3) Use same method for weapons. Textures for weapons are in "Shared" folder of Civ4 or in the same textures, where other bodyparts.

I think Itsjustme can do that, as he has the walkirie model from AOM. I extracted at first about anything just to familiarize with program, but now I will follow a specific line up, as I need many of them for some campaign project I may start in a few months if time.

Why you apply "head"-texture to body? You must apply main texture to body and "head"-texture to head. Textures for weapons are in "hesd"-texture too.
You must do it step by step in ME:
1) Get by pipette material from body, apply main "Amazon_Swordsman_Asian_128.dds" texture.
2) Get material from head, apply "Amazon_Swordsman_Asian_Head_128.dds".
3) Get material from weapon, apply "Amazon_Swordsman_Asian_Head_128.dds".
No more, no less. May be you badly understood my poor english? Salamandre understood. : dunno :
