Well, he is kind of a god.
Try using just one axe and repeatedly block-smash him in the face to stagger him as he tries to counter attack.
If you can survive long enough to get him on the ground that is.

Surviving the stuff he throws at me is a walk in the park mostly. Its when he is landing that I get raped lol. Hmm of course it never occured to me to use a shield trolololol (well to be fair I didnt have it on me at the time). Hmm might get that thing down from my wall afterall.
And I am all for exciting boss battles where a god really feels like a god but I would enjoy having a fighting chance. Hmm I will just load the save again tomorrow I am not being the most objective person in the world right now lol maybe I just played bad. Eitherway thanks for the tip.

Dragons are one thing. Have you faced an Dracolich, Black Dragon or Aspect of Alduin yet? There are not so easy lol...
Not to mention Alduin himself. Cant imagine the guy not giving you a really hard time.

Sorry to say it but I found Skyrim a little too predictable, though nice. Maybe I should go back to Gothic II or something...

A little? Heh. When you kill your first dragon, you've already seen everything which the game has to offer. The rest is following the story - which is rather tedious due to the hollow characters involved in it; exploring hundreds of dungeons - which is admittedly nice... sometimes; and developing skill which you never use just so your character can level up faster (the leveling system in general is quite dumb). Still, the killing and the sightseeing somewhat compensate for the... predictability.

Even if you're Orc, Khajit, Argonian, Nord or whatever you're "Dragon born"..err, gimme a break. In Gothic at least u had to work hard to kill them and you were just a convict.

I've been thinking about buying Skyrim, but the whole bound-to-Steam thing bothers me to no end.(Stranded on a PC, grr) Is there an official or semi-official workaround?(With latest patch applied to it, if possible) Blame my paranoia, but giving my personal details to a company that's already proven that its security is sub-par, just so that I can play a PC game is too terrifying a prospect, and if I had to pirate the game anyway in order to avoid that, then buying it would be pointless, wouldn't it?
I really don't want to pass on this game solely because of its crappy DRM, but right now, it seems to be the only option...
EDIT:Thanks, DS. I suspected as much, but it isn't fair! grr

To pass around Steam, pretty much your only choice is piracy
Also, dude, compared to others (such as the dirtbags at sony), the security Valve has is pretty top notch

Steam is the best platform you can buy games. If you are concerned about security, watch what EA's origin does...
What is so terrible about steam anyway? I run it everyday and I always enjoyed its service.
Your complaints are pointless.

-It collects all sorts of data concerning the games one plays-it is effectively spying on its customers
-It is very much hackable, so said sensitive details, including credit card numbers are in constant peril
-It should have NOTHING to do with a PC game bought in a local store, and yet, those ***s bound Skyrim to Steam, forcing the customers to utilize its "services", what I personally consider a colossal dick move

If you are afraid of being spied on then how on earth are you able to use a computer?

Simple - I had modified my computer-related habits supposing that any and all things I do online are constantly observed, so I minimized the risk of my personal details being used against me by forgoing the use of most sites requiring me to give these up - currently the only weak links are my Ubishop account and my Gmail account, but I made sure that even if they are hacked, the most info one could get from them are a now defunct temporary Internet card number, my name, the first name of my second-best friend, and the surname of three of my teachers, plus a few ancient and very rarely used login details to a few forums, which I accessed at most twice to get past a few "Guests can't see this link" ***eries. True, these would in turn compromise my hard drive, but in the event of a raid, I can fry that in under 5 minutes, so there.

Diablo 3 also is very invasive as well though, you can't even play with the internet (and thus their monitoring) disconnected. But anyway, you can always just buy Skyrim, Diablo 3, etc and since you own it already on that platform, download a modification in order to allow it to disconnect itself from whatever draconian service it ties itself to. It's your legally purchased copy, you can modify it as you please.
Edit: Just make sure your country doesn't have some weird law where this also is illegal despite your ownership. If that's the case I advise against buying them at all and just complain until they fix the games in question. (never)

I'm pretty sure trying to bypass a legally purchased game that is tied to steam would just lead to Valve banning your account.
