Hehe, i ended up getting Oblivion for PC, and that is by the way fun as hell. Much better Magic/Weapon usage ;P, And the skill system! Waayy better.. But the way you buy and sell items is ridiculous, and so is the enemies. (Big difrence between PS3 and PC version)

Alright... updated Skyrim to the latest version, updated all of my mods, downloaded a bunch of new ones, got the latest SKSE and BOSS... had to reorganize my mods myself...

Now let's see if my save game blows up or if I can continue where I left off.

EDIT:

Holy **** everything works. Only problem was the graphics getting pixelated as **** due to a problem with the new AMD drivers... simply disabling AA solved it.

Looks better than ever, and more stable framerate as well.

So, I've been playing this game for some time now. Was loving it. But after level 40, it became increasingly easy. I wanted to explore every land and do every sub-quest and misc. quests. It's the first time I'm playing a game in the highest possible difficulty. And it didn't matter. I'm level 50 now and have started to get bored. Ancient Dragons die with my 3 power attacks. Think I'll just skip to main quests and finish the game.

Is this the case for everyone or I'm becoming like DF? Cause I've now understood him. Sorry for pulling your leg about this "this game is easy" issues DF

Give me a challenge! Let 4 dragons come at once or something. There is no difference between easy and hardest.

Did you play from the begining on the hardest difficulty (and get to level 50 and it's easy) or did you just modify the difficulty on your character?

Well yeah, getting overpowered is very easy in vanilla. In fact it's hard not to become overpowered unless you actually focus on getting weak haha.

Loads of mods to improve that though.

EDIT: Actually that's my solution to everything... MOAR MODS!

I have started with normal. Then when they started to die like flies, I've changed it to hardest.

Why? There is a bug about that too?

Not really, but playing normal until you've got good enough stuff to steamroll hard mode kinda messes up the progression of difficulty.

Though inevitably you will steamroll everything in time anyway, 'lest you play some kinda speechcraft lockpicking bard ^^

You get higher level creeps at lower level on Master. (for example I was given the task of clearing a cave of falmer at level 2 1 hit and your dead from either the blow or the poison)

Point is if your max level and the creeps can't get any better than you can't get the higher level creeps that come with Higher difficulties (kinda ruins the atmosphere too imo) Not saying it's perfect, but that it makes a helluva lot of difference whether you fight higher level enemies witha rtifact grade weapons and all abilities at your disposal, or crawl through the trenches like the rest of us.

Well, how was I to know it would get this easy? I would pick hardest if I knew :/ But then, this is a clear sign that difficulty settings are somewhat not efficient in the game.

I mean, why are still simple Draugr spawning when I'm in a ruin with level 50 and on hardest settings? Let all become Overlords and Dragon priests, etc.

The other problem with Bethesda it seems, cause I have also seen this in New Vegas, is that the skills are advancing too quickly. My two-handed, heavy armor and lockpicking were already 100 before level 40. I've switched to one-handed mid game for the sake of levelling up. Now my enchanting and smithing are also 100 and one-handed and speech became 80 or smt.

And trainers make the levelling up even easier. They should only provide one skill level per char level imo.

Sounds intriguing doesn’t it?

Besides the DLC, Todd Howard also revealed that the average time PC gamers play Skyrim is around 75 hours. It is not surprising if PS3 players also clock in a similar number. He also mentioned that before the game launched in November, Bethesda did not focus test the game at all. This fact is not surprising at all since we all have heard reports about the game’s huge amount of bugs.

What do you think about the DLC ideas? Anything from the list that you want to see realized in the future?


I'd do to anything to be able to build my own house and be a vampire lord. (the house is obviously going to be right next to the sleeping tree )
