By the way, if you need help with translating HotA from Russian to English when you're ready to release the first full version I'd be glad to help.

I was wondering if there is an official statement/opinion/declaration of the ex 3DO or Ubisoft regarding the development of HOTA. I would be really interested on what they think about it.

Hey, I just wanted to say that ive been checking on Hota almost every week since I heard of it a few years ago. Me and my friends are still eagerly waiting for it, even if it takes a few more years for it to be released. (Heroes 3 is still the best in the series anyway, imho).
So keep up the good work!

I'll leave it open just for now in case people end up venting about 2.0 taking so long.

A town is not the easiest thing to translate. Do not forget about a campaign with numerous dialogs. Many bugs were reported (not critical, though) and it's possible that a better version is being prepared for English community.
And finally, I don't even sure the translation has been started at all. The only way to make sure that the team is working hard instead of resting on theirs laurels (how selfish, right?) is to ask them directly.

cause whole team speaks russian.
and it require alot of work. + we might get some errors in spelling or writing.

I need help translating russian stuff from the cove town to english
I do not want to copy all stuff since my game does not recognize any russian characters..
I would like to know the following things..
1) Building names
2) special building specifications
3) Unit names
4) Unit specialties (like the female wizzard has disruption ray and weakness cast after hitting)
Would really appreciate it

Played a bit with the cove town, r'ly good town, fun to play with, like the town's specialities a lot (lvl 4 unit have 2 upgrades, canon, and trade units for artefacts)
Good work ! The town seems to be here from start... wish it was !

Hota For Complete Version (Still not English)
The REmade version which should work with the Heroes 3 Complete Version was released here :

Also they said this(HoMM3 HD 3.0 beta 6) is the version of the HDMod which should be used for HOTA
