What kind of Altar would that make it?
Remind me, please, did neutral creatures except elementals, had their own dwellings in H5? Not that if they did not, it means they won't now either... But it may be a clue.
Another thing I noticed... The Dragonblood Crystal Mine. It's filled up inside with crystals. It might be mistaken but I think some other Crystal Mines of previous screenshots didn't look so full. It could just be graphical details and mean nothing but it could also mean that mines are running out after a while.
EDIT: The Hooded man of the Hydra statue... You don't suppose it's a Dark Elven Assassin, right?

Well, some had in the previous games which IMO was really better than to not have neutrals in your army. Really loved the way they were in HOMM3 and HOMM4.

And if Xhane called the Ruins then I guess that doesn't make them a Subterranean Gate... They're probably a fight for xp and treasure type of map location, like the Crypt.

Sphinx and Sirens? Like the map locations? The one with the riddle, Sphinx and the Sirens that kill 30% of your army for experience?

I kinda reconsidered my thinking that it is a Hydra creature dwelling too. It's not that, it can't be. It doesn't look umm, wild or savage enough to spawn such a monster.
I am really clueless about it. The water hints to Sanctuary but the Hydra doesn't fit with the faction. The hooded figure could as well be a dark elf.
However, it's the best looking map location that I've seen so far in H6.

I don't. I still see the one guarded by the Lamassu as being a subterranean stairwell. I guess time will show.

Yeah, it's not. Xhane called it 'Ruins'. It probably is a battle location. Fight Monster, earn XP. Kinda like the Crypt. Since it's in Orc territory, I doubt it's a dwelling for Necro.

It's sitting right in front of the Hydra. But he seems to be meditating. That would not fit the hedonistic and bloodthirsty Dark Elves...

You say altar too... What kind of altar could that be? But I'm beginning to reconsider wether this is a Dark Elf. Meditating don't fit them.
