It depends on the equation. If it is similar to army cost in PM, then no big deal, there are ways to go over. Need to see.

It doesn't depend on anything but hero's level and difficulty setting, i.e. it's a function of only two variables.

As a matter of fact, (ExpH - ExpL) is experience increment from n level to n+1 level.

For instance, we have a 15-lvl hero who's about to gain 16th (a couple of points left). If we simply forget about him he'll lose
(34160-28784)/(10*15)*D = 35.84*D XP per day.
On easiest mode it means he'll become 14th level (from the top of 15th, i.e. losing a whole level) in 179 days and on impossible in 35 days. Not really impossible.

The more powerful your hero becomes, the less he needs to worry about this leaking XP.

And the more questionable the feature becomes. Either boring or useless.

Unfortunately, it's available only in Russian. Don't worry though, the translation is coming soon. In the next year, of course.

Thank you, two mods for which I were waiting in one day! What else should I wish?

Jus at little question, I see that MoP doesn't work whith maps in non-MoP format. Is that normal? Are there some maps in MoP format?

Hello everyone, it's been a while.

Unfortunately, one day I lost all my laptop data. Including 90% translated MoP (and 99% translated TDS, though in Russian). Nevertheless, I must keep my promise and soon you'll be able to test this intriguing modification.

There were some patches released and the current version is considered to be stable. MoP has already started working on the expansion "Ride the Lightning". I'll try to keep this topic updated, thanks for your attention.

Hello!
It seems great althought I had some problems running a MoP ontop my Heroes3 version. Even so many features are great and there are some rumors of great features under the hood. Would you be so nice to backport some features to ERA plugins? Or at least provide most of important info to allow another person to backport it to ERA.

I'm mostly interested in rumored one allowing any creature get hardcoded features of existing cratures without the need of Stack Experience mechanism usage, including the abilities not supported by Stack Experience mechanism... any other beeing seen in ERA would be also cool.

I see you greatly based on ERA but much of mechanics are different (Drew, direct game code editing), so Bersy said he is hopeless about backporting any of your features without your help. Having such portraits dialogs in ERA would be cool also. I hope we wouldn't steal too much attention from your mod - but modularity and compatibility is what we love in ERA - and you while having very good ideas and their implementation went full-custom way.

majaczek, thanks for your interest. Unfortunately, I'm not the developer you need, though I can definitely say that this mod is constantly moving away from ERM and ERA. All new features are being implemented using WERD. I can't exactly say how difficult it is to backport on ore another feature but I'm sure that MasterOfPuppets doesn't plan to divide his mod into two parts one of which is available on ERA and the other only in MoP.

Of course, I'll contact MoP to see what can be done here. It would be better if you name particular features you're interested in.

By the way, English translation is ready and will have been published by the end of the week.

I'm interested mostly in technical ones which not have an alternative in existing ERA plugins (ie. Amethyst for new monster types, Emerald for new artifact types already exists). I know many things are done in Werd (sorry for messing Drew with Werd) but even they access some points of H3 engine which can be done also outside Werd.

Currently I'm specifically interested in: rumoured feature to be able to bind any existing hardcoded monster feature to any type of monster, new gui for creatures, parts of new GUI of heroes (ones for rightclick in choice of heroes and one associated with portraits).

Generally I'm interested in: all decoded adresses to data structures in H3 with brief description and places where exist pointers to those data structures (if we want redirect them in another place those would be needed), all used hookpoints with brief description on usage.

We do not want to steal mod of MoP - we just want to have some general features working on ERA as plugins which could be used in (almost) any mod. So more general feature is the more it is in scope for porting (the one with big character portraits gui may be a bit out of scope). The problem is in ERA most of features are compatible with each other while MoP is very custom mod merely interested in compability - so we want most important yet-not-accessible features from MoP in whole world of ERA modding. Werd is both used to talk with H3 code and instead of scripts (according to russian forums) - we are mostly interested with things unaccessible from ERM or only accessible with UN:C (direct memory access), so we/you make capabilities for modders and scripters wider.

PS: personally I'm interested in some of hooks and adresses related with buildings in town, because I intend to use them to make a plugin for more buildings for existing towns - the display of buildings seems be easiest things to do - I'm widely scared on things should be done in and around Town Hall interface.

PPS: I hope I don't messed it and you know where "MoP" were used as a person and where as a mod.

I noticed you added shooting javelins for the Centaurs and Centaurs captains. Can you please tell me how you did this? Is there an ERA pluggin for that or was it made possible through ERM commands?

I've a problem- after installing everything (in proper order of course) I'm clicking mop.exe and I get error: "ResourceManager::GetSpreadsheet could not find the "text" resource "ZMESS00.txt"." I use Era 2.0 and polish version of H3.

MoP requires old-style WoG 3.58f installation. And it's not compatible with anything else according to author's words. You'll have to install H3 + 3.58f + MoP in a separate folder.
