This is one of the thirteen main appendages, seen from underneath - my artistic vision of it.
This also shows my suggested colour for the skin and claws - very dark red, close to black, and a similar but more greyish colour for the claws.
Actual length of the finger-claws is up to you.

A total of 6 on the head, and many more on the main body.
If its head looks similar to that of a hammerhead shark, the eyes would be placed on the projections, three on each.

2b: Long, flat tongue with a ridge along the whole length of it in the middle, covered in tiny spines that give it a sandpaper-like feeling, SHREDDING SKIN OFF THE LICKED. (much like a cat's tongue)
Underside dripping with HIGHLY CORROSIVE saliva.
