2. The founding of Mortaris and Agrynell at almost the same time will most certainly be no coincidence - so where is the connection?
Agrynell was founded first. The belief of the Sacred Empire had no room nor understanding for Necromancy, so the necromancers had to flee the Empire. They founded Mortaris as their own Treshold on Magis.

Agrynell was founded first. Within the Empire, building on accociations from before and single individuals, rose the first necromancers. It gave a bloody civil war {variant: which could only be ended with elven help}. Most necromancers fled Magis, but some staid and founded Mortaris.
