Because it's actually some beast and other non-human creatures get a moral bonus from it because there are beasts too. I don't know, I don't have any other ideas.

Sorry if I'm out of line, but what if they ammo cart gives some sort of unique arrows, like Flaming Arrows (not necessarily that, but you get the image) which will do extra damage or maybe do an area attack or whatever?

hmmm ok. I give some ideas I have in mind and yours, too, and you can choose:
Ammo Beast (A wild beast carrying ammo.Beast units get a morale bonus)
OR
Ammo Beast (A fast beast carrying ammo quickly to the ranged units... increases the rangers ini=they can act earlier in a round, due to time saved)
OR
?No name idea? (Additional to eternal ammo, it negates the effect of the Fog from the Fog basin for your ranged units. If no fog effect is present, your ranged units gain "no ranged penalty")
OR
Ammo Cart+Watchmen (Your ranged units gain eternal ammo and the "ranged retaliation" ability)
OR
Equipment Cart (Your ranged units gain eternal ammo and the "No melee penalty" ability.)
EDIT: Alci, just read your ideas...yes, general, such would also work...if it's given to ranged units...

ok. Rampart Ballista will be
Piercing Ballista (Has an effect similar to dragons breath, damaging units behind the target, but hits 3 squares behind target, not just 2, yet damage decreases with every target hit)
OR
Thorn Tree (A movable massive Tree without leaves, but with masses of Thorns, which he can shot at the enemy. Can, once per turn, intercept enemies which try to melee-attack one of your units. Intercepting works like an attack, dealing damage, but additonally stops the enemy in the middle of their attack movement (halfway to their target))
OR
Pinning Ballista (A ballista whose shots pin (ground) enemies to the ground, preventing them from moving for a while (1-2 turns))
OR
Elven Ballista (Like ELven Archers (which are not in, but nonetheless^^), this ballista performs 2 shots in an attack, not one, thus dealing double damage (and potentially skills taking more effect))

Healing Tent-Ammo Cart 0
and 6 factions left. Each combination shall be used at least once, and none more than twice.

Goblin Thrower (Goblins may not be in game as recruitable units but they may appear...as ammunition. The Goblin thrower uses goblins as ammunition. It deals less damage to the walls, but behind these, a small stack of goblins will appear, to harrass the enemy)
OR
Heavy Catapult (The catapult of the orcs is heavy enough to not only throw massive stones, but also units (no larges, though). Instead of attacking the walls, it can throw a unit stack above them. This stack will get damage at landing, but be behind the enemy walls, capable of striking there)
OR
Heavy Catapult (The Orcish catapult throws extremely heavy boulders, which are so massive they can fly THROUGH enemy walls, not only dealing massive damage to these, but also to all creatures in a line behind the wall)
