Gaahh! I get so sick of this game...
I will probably write a long ranting list in the future, but I can start by telling you the worst thing in the entire game.
Did they seriously have to make the hottest character in the game your sister? 
I mean what the hell, all female Romances in the game are boring.
Guess I have no choice but to only play as a female Char, at least then I can have a hot person...
Oh and yeah the battles are boring.
Overall it's an okay game though.

They already did with Baldur's Gate saga. And guess what, a fantastic Imoen Romance mod was born because of that

Hubby and I traded games with somebody else for the Ultimate Edition of Origins. I guess in 2 years we'll do the same for this game.
Our human noble is level 19 now. (We've been playing here and there for a few months now)

I'm still playing Awakening, and today, it has been half an hour at most, I have been introduced to what is known on the internet and forums as "The Great Silverite Mine Bug", which is that my main character never gets his items back! This is the hugest bug I have ever encountered. You take away all party's items away because of the mission but then FORGET to give back the MAIN character's items, which are, there is no need to say but, all elite, hard earned items. I've read some people even dropped the game because of this and some even dropped the entire Dragon Age series meaning they say they wont buy Dragon Age 2.
I am simply frustrated as I will have to play the whole Silverite Mine mission again and again until my character wake up in the beginning of the mission with common clothing like the other party members. I have killed 2 dragons NAKED for f.ck's sake!
So my question is this: As far as you have played, is DO2 also full of bugs? If that is the case I won't also play the game.

DA2 on nightmare is snowing INSANELY hard after a while. Snowed level scaling. I SWEAR the Ancient Rock Wraith is IMPOSSIBLE on nightmare (I opted to abuse the regroup bug rather than turn down difficulty, fighting bugs with bugs). I did every quest in chapter one, just barely getting the upper hand by the end, and start of chapter two I have to save before every encounter. I have spent 60 hours playing just to get past chapter one. The fact that the warrier does terrible DPS to single targets and unclustered crowds, and insane friendly fire makes it very frustrating. Did I mention I hate level scaling? Who the hell though level scaling could possibly be a good idea, and how can they still be doing it after all it has done in every other level scaled game ( :glaring at you Bethesda: )?

It's not INSANELY hard, more like, insanely annoying. Because you have to know where the "I'M A HUMAN, IT'S OBVIOUS I APPEAR OUT OF THIN AIR!" guys will come from in battles. The one guy appearing behind your mage unexpected and game over. You need a lot of crowd control though, upgraded winter's grasp, scatter, upgraded evade and stuff like that. If you're a mage, having yourself and anders both healers helps A LOT.
The boss fights are the easier parts because you know how they go. They just take FOREVER. Who ever thought it was a good idea to give every boss 9999999999999999 HP should be dragged to an alley and shot.

are you kidding? Sounds way better than boss fights in DA that took my overstuffed party about 5 seconds to finish.

So, I could leave my party to fight the high dragon in the Bonepit and go for a cup of tea coming back some 10 minutes later to find them still pounding that dragon which was around 50% health at the time. THEY JUST TAKE FOREVER TO KILL AND ARE PATHETIC DAMAGE DEALERS!
I could leave my party unattented and they would beat the damn things, that's kinda lame. (Rock wraith's the same, you just have to evade it once in a while when it does that light thingy, I'm not sure if it's a good or a bad thing)

The enemy assassins and rogues are the biggest bull crap in the entire game.
They should seriously be locked up by the templars for their blood magic, turn invisible and invulnerable powers. I mean there is just no way to counter them! Once they turn invisible, you just have to wait for their inevitable strike of death...
YOU CAN'T EVEN KILL THEM WITH AOE WHEN THEY ARE IN STEALTH!!! 
(And now I don't even mention that they also are one of the most resilient enemies in the game. (they are like mini bosses for crying out loud!))

Jaba, you noob, AoE spells do damage to stealthed enemies and also uncloak them.

Probably because they run around and you've missed them. They're not going to be in the same spot they turned stealthed you know.

Well I figured out a large part of my problem, friendly fire. I was taking TONS of damage from my mage and rogues reckless AoE attacks, I respeced anders to have NO damage spells, and fixed my rogue to only use AoE on clusters of four or more, and now the game is just ridiculously hard, but I can at least cheap my way through a lot of it. I really hate assassins, if they had much less HP they would be a decent enemy, but as is its 30 seconds of mashing only to have the use a potion. Battles with two assassins are infuriating and often take me a half hour.

Yeah, frienly fire comes into play when on nightmare, I was sad to not see it on hard yet. 
But firestorming your own guys might be a problem.

Rain/Hail of arrows around your group usually does the trick... ofc, I end up hurting myself but screw that it's piss damage anyway!

Funny thing?
Spiders are the strongest enemies I've faced-
Might have something to do with their acid/poison attack, I think it ignores armour.
