In my opinion if a racial bonus applies, then a racial penalty should also to 'balance' out the stats. *shrugs*

Sorry BETA, didn't notice.
And yeah, I actually asking War-Overlord if that is OK with him. (For the stat mods), or if he even wants them.

@Gnomes: Is it possible to have a free move reducing the enemies before entering combat? Like the archers in the woods killing for instance 15 mercenaries with a surprise volley before the actual fight?

Possible, but not probable. Wait until I can get everyone else in there as well.

Yeah... 'Bout that...
Next time you have an idea for a scenario, please HCM the idea to me. That way I can tell you, "Sure! Sounds great!" Or, "No, not yet." Or finally, "No! That's a horrible idea! No soup for you!"
This particular one would have been filed under, "Save it for a little later", but since I'm a such a great guy, we'll go with it...

Excuse me for not having posted in awhile, but I am drowning in mock exams and preparations for real exams as well as hundreds of small tests...These last few weeks have been busy, but the final mock exam is on Thursday followed by a week of what I hope will be a good rest, as we get to know what exams we are going to have on Friday the 13th.

Kinda. I have limited time to post, but I'm also suffering a bit from uninspiredness. I could if I wanted to and had something to write.

Yep, they're still there. You are, of course, going to be part of the battle.

Oww owww oww. My feet hurt right now, but nevermind. I won't really be available these next few days. Tests and such. Got a oral presentation in English for next Monday, a Geography test on Wedensday and a "make a picture show of a novel" thingy in Norwegian that should be done for Wedensday as well. Oww. Also, got a society-knownledge test for next Tuesday. Man I'm not getting paid enough for this.
EDIT: Not back, just had to post that rant from Al'Quil.
EDIT1: *laugh*
EDIT2: SO...ehm....What happened here?

Ack! Suddenly I have to be responsible...
Next post coming up.
Edit: Alright! I finally figured out the battle system!
During your turn, the players with the highest move go first (or decide to wait until x character goes before acting). If the player's move is tied, then it goes to speed (this early in the game, this will happen quite allot). If speed is the same, then luck is the preference. If (God forbid) luck is the same, then we go to Gnomesie's random number generator and fate decides who goes first.
Exp will be communal.
The battle field is divided into five different sections, far left, close left, middle, close right, far right. It is also divided further in each of these sections in the Melee line and the Range line. Where you decide to stand will determine who you can attack.
In the fight, you chose a flank to start the battle on, middle, left or right. Middle people can attack enemies in the middle flank, but can also attack the enemies in the close left and close right flanks. The right flank can attack the enemies from the far right to the middle flanks, and the left flank can attack the far left flank to the middle flanks. You can move a flank per turn and still get your normal amount of attacks, or you can move two flanks and get half of your original attacks (rounded down, Minimum of 0).
Example: Alex is in the right flank. He attacks an enemy in the far right flank, which only he can reach, and kills the enemy. The next turn, he kill steals from Al'Quil in the close right flank, and the turn after he kills another enemy in the middle flank. Now that all three flanks are cleared, Alex moves to the middle flank (one flank over) and attacks an enemy in the close left.
The battle progresses, with the enemy gaining reinforcements, and Alex eventually finds himself on the left flank. Suddenly the right flank in jeopardy. Alex moves to the right flank, but only gets a maximum of 1 attack on any enemy, so his turn must end.
Enemies in the melee line of each flank must be dealt with before you can attack enemies in the back section of each flank if you do not have a range weapon/ are in the range line. Players and allies with range can attack enemies in the range line, but are then targetable by everyone. Bosses will be in their own Boss line, the melee line or the range line. Certain bosses will be behind a second melee line that you will have to cleave through. A unit may only be attacked by 6 other units at the most (3 in melee, 3 in range), unless it is a boss character in the boss line. A unit can move from one line to another with the same penalties as if they had just moved from one flank to another. (Moving from the range line in the middle flank to the melee line in the left flank is the same as moving two flanks.)
Feel free to post any questions or comments/ changes.

................. OR!
You can just make something along these lines:
Yellow Square - Tavern Door
Grey Cross and Grey lines - Uncrossable areas.
Light blue lines - Windows
Red line - Stairs.
Took me five minutes with paint to make this example map. I think you get the point.
