Soooooo... It seems my attempts to get this into a higher gear are not exactly working as I hoped they would. I know many of us are busy people, Omega in particular as his real-life job is a demanding one and he doubles as a mod here, but I'd hate for this to die.
The way I see it, we're to dependant on Omega's precious free time to keep this rolling fast. I am very much willing to help in that regard if I know what direction we are taking/ supposed to be taking. So if Omega would be so kind as to contact me via HCM, we can see what I am able to do in that regard.

Well with all due respect Warlord I think we should be a bit more understanding before we go for a mutiny just yet.
This is afterall his inaugural RP as he became a Glade moderator and I doubt that he takes this RP lightly, not least of all also because this is about a subject he enjoys a lot.
I know you ment no disrespect or anything bad was implied but still... While I enjoy the 40k universe a lot aswell one of the big reasons I entered this is because I knew Omega would be the guy writing this story together with us.
I very much doubt that his lack of updates reflects his interest in this RP.
I could however be wrong, no matter how unlikely and prepostrous I find that prospect in this regard but you know, never say never. Should I be wrong, I would have no objection to the banton being passed. But Omega strikes me as the kind of guy that would immidealty inform us, if the RP became more of a chore to him than a form of entertainment or relaxation or outlet for violent thoughts.
Long story short before I personally would ask Omega to pass the bat or empower someone else to write the story I would simply ask him about the current drought in updates. No matter how painful we find them Im suspect he finds the situation atleast as unfullfilling. While I very much share your enthusiasm for this RP Warlord, I wouldnt take something thats important to Omega away from him, simply to satisfy my need for a faster pace (I do not mean to imply anything Warlord!).

I think you misunderstand me Az. This is less of a request of "let me write it" and more of a request to "let me help write it". It was not a 'pass the baton', but a 'help carry the baton'.
I also never tried to imply that this has become a chore for Omega, I am certain that he would tell us the moment has come that he has stopped enjoying this RPG. What I tried to say was that I very much suspect that Omega simply has not got the spare time, given the fact that he has many more important things to do, to be able to update this as often as we would like him to. So I offered to bear the brunt of the work.
This was never a mutiny, this was an offer to help.
P.S.
Damn, that last update fethed many things I've written. I'll continue as if the squad rushed in after the events that I had described.

The thing is that it is redundant and it is contradictory to the orders already given. You put the situation of sending the first message, just before the bad-guys enter the room. By that time Horrace was already up and about, had requested for reinforcements already, though his were more specific and had taken command of the defence.
Also if you give that command in a calm and seccure voice, that takes more than half a minute, if you set it to repeat every minute, that effectively floods the channels oc communication.
But it makes the battle more interesting. And it gives the opportunity for a few tense moments in the future, which I am planning already.
Edit:
Also at this point the only inquisitorial staff aware of Horrace's name, are the Inquisitor(Az) and the Sister(Meroe) and only the Interrogator(DG) is further aware of Horrace involvement. Kiel has no way of knowing Horrace's name. So you may want to revise that.

No, never heard of it. And if you read carefully, you'll noticte that I break that rule often. Very often. Mostly because we don't have that rule in Dutch. And it's quite the useless rule.

Well at least you can follow why it's redundant. Now I will explain why it is contradictory to Horrace's earlier orders for reinforcements. Let us look at Kiel's request, shall we. Kiel orders every operable ship to the mansion. No exceptions. Now Horrace has ordered available craft, with special priority to air-superiority fighters(Thunderbolts, Lightnings) and infantry support(Vultures). On top of that, Horrace has explicitly ordered not to send bombers. See how that contradicts each other. Now also, Kiel orders all millitary personell to reinforce the palace. Again, no exceptions. Horrace has only ordered the the Brimlock Dragoons 3rd Platoon to reinforce the palace. Because they are the closest and because the Brimlockers are mechanised infantry, making it at least viable that they will arrive on time to make a difference. See how mobilising a specific usefull regiment contradict mobilising everything.
And remember that this is the Imperial Guard, where orders are obeyed without question and to the letter, even if orders are idiotic or suicidal. Failure to obey orders results in certain death, especially if those orders (could) come from a Commissar.

My apologies for my lack of updates, especially after omega just provided us with a juicy piece.
I was otherwise occupied which... left me with little time.
Eitherway my apologies hope you guys dont think me shallow, considering all I said.
I will have update ready tomorrow, if thats still okay.
EDIT: Just read your post Omega. Well okay then I will just get to work once you have posted the update, assuming that I will not be unconsciouss anymore when you are done with it. Dont want you guys to have to wait any longer on my account than you already did.
