I'm re-watching all three series as well, (in part to get me hyped for series 4, but also cause I'm playing the age of kings mod for mount and blade) currently on series two, so many great moments.

Been watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. After getting over the first three episodes, which were honestly really bad, it suddenly got good if not even great! Recommended if you like small scale action/light american drama.

Watching Buffy atm, first 3 seasons were OK overall with eps ranging from poor to excellent, but the 4th was AWESOME.

I remember it was my favourite. but I didn't like the 5th one much.

4th, seriously? The one with evil American military Frankenstein?
Not the lovely teen romance drama that was the second season?

I've generally regarded the fourth as the worst season. But at least it didn't have Dawn in it...

But hey, when Buffy went to 4th season, you got to start Angel so win.

I'm thinking about downloading the 4400 but wiki says the show was cancelled after season 4. Can anybody tell me if they had a concluding finale?

I remember dropping the series somewhere in the second season. While it was entertaining for a while, the whole plotting against everyone by everyone was getting kinda annoying.
Don't know if it got any better afterwards.

Currently watching the "Thick of it", god the tears flow every episode.

Also been watching a series called Vikings, getting me in the mood for raiding and whatnot.

Ivor - Could you do a quick recap of Vikings ?  Any magic involved ..like in GoT ?

I have heard rumors but today I found this Always loved Saul in Breaking Bad. Only wish is that they go more crime than comedy ! Odenkirks way of delivering his lines are funny as heck in themsleves

Recap? Did you mean to say a summary?

If you did then here: (plot spoilers ofc) No, it's not like GoT, apart from significantly disfigured individuals that look like borderline monsters (these guys are the priests of the society) there is nothing really "unrealistic" about the series. It's mainly about a man who dreams of western lands and the riches that they hold (i.e England, and beyond).

If you've always been a sucker for Marvel Comics, Batman or something like that, but somehow think superheroes movies and shows have become too predictable

Try "Misfits".

Hilarious. And actually pretty thrilling as a bonus.

It's a surprisingly good show so far (only 4 eps out), I also recommend it.

Thanks for the tips, always searching for new sci-fi shows. Almost human doesn't seem to hit me though. But if you like both police shows and sci-fi mingeled into one then I recommend it.

Almost Human is not bad but as of now, it is too formula based to be truly good. You know, how in every episode the human cop and the robocop learn something from each other! Its actually the standard formula of by the book cop meets wild cop and they solve cases neutralizing each others weaknesses. Lethal Weapon with a little bit of sci fi gravy.
