The dragon smiles, which is a bit unnerving with all the teeth "I like you. As for Yenir..yes our people have passed down stories about that one. A god of death and decay." The dragon uses a claw to pick up the crown in question, which honestly doesn't look like much. In fact it is old and dented and rather plain. "IF the crown agrees to go with you, I have no issue parting with it. I will even offer you a choice. We can trade for the items this man has, or after everything is done and Yenir cast back to whence he came..you will come and study under me. For the length of two years, longer if you think the training worth it. What say you?"

Aleron bowed again, privately wondering what a dragon would gain out of having any kind of student. “Very well, if after Yenir has been cast away I am still in condition to receive your tutelage, I would be happy to be your pupil if that is your wish.”

The dragon nods and hands over the crown. A rather loud, annoying voice can be heard as soon as you touch it. "Oy, what's this then. Oo be you boyo?" the voice goers into grumbling, apparently not really interested in an answer. "Passed around like a two silver piece wench I am. No respect for that wha once sat on tha heads of tha old kings wot were real kings..not tha sorry gits that call em selves kings now."

Ivor rises with a grump, though it would seem that he was dragging his heel, he was infact more eeger than the rest and rose with haste, only to sneak away to extensibvely scout out the paths ahead while Tanis and Raistlin chit-chatted.

Ivor finds out something interesting, something apparently the ogres and their companion didn't think of..ogres are not exactly light on their feet. While most of the ground is quartz or stone, there is a set of ogre sized footprints leading into the center cave. While they have a healthy lead, ogres are also not very quick on their feet. The group might be able to catch up with them..provided they actually did go into the middle of the three caves.

Kerym dunks himself under the water, and stays down for a little while. He comes back up with no shirt visible. He lifts the shirt and his pants from the water.
"Here. You had best put these on if you want to travel with me back to camp, staying out of your canteen. Though, if you don't mind, I'm going to take a nice swim before we go."
Kerym hands the clothing over to the spirit, and dives into the water once more. He swims around a while, getting a view of the area around. He looks over to her, stopping in place.
"So, what am I to call you? What is your name?"

"Oh, I understand you did not require the clothing to be wet. I just thought it might be easier getting the pants off from down there. Maybe not, but now it is done. As for the name, Brook sounds fine to me."
He swims over to her.
"Well, that was a nice swim. A bit short, but quite pleasant. I am ready to head to camp, if you are. Sorry about the clothing, by the way. I will try to get you something more fitting once we reach town."
Assuming she is ready, they head to the camp.

They get to the camp..and the next morning the group moves on into the city..and what a city...
Everything looks so expensive, there are shops everywhere, including stall in the street..but the main focus is the library in the center of the town. Cast in marble, with mithril and adamantite designs carved into it.

The library calls to Kerym greatly, but he has a few tasks to complete before the structure containing vast knowledge should be visited. First, he finds a shop that contains a second canteen he can buy. Second, he locates somewhere that he can purchase a brush and some paint. That way he can mark them separate from each other. Last, he finds a place where he can get some clothing for Brook. Hopefully nothing too expensive, but something decent. Something green or light blue-ish would be nice. He has her try them on, and see if she likes them, if she is willing, and cares.
After the shopping trips are completed, and what's bought is bought, they head over to the library.

No need for the marking, the two canteens would be different enough not to mistake the two..as for clothing, she really is not interested, but understands the need and picks out something. As you get to the library..you notice a line..in front of the library is four chairs and a table, seated at each chair is a person. Two females, two males..the line seems to be for them. Above their heads is a banner "The lords and ladies can answer all your questions, please form an orderly line. and they will get to you as soon as they can."

For some reason the impression that the crown shows 'affection' by insults comes across..and probably is use to the same.

Kerym looks to the line. He can't help but frown at its length. He moves away from the tables, sitting across the street. He casts Clairaudience to eavesdrop on the questions being asked, as well as their answers, hoping to get a bit of information that anyone else might ask. A few minutes of that, and he gets up, walks over to the tables, totally bypassing the line, and asks them, "How would one go about obtaining a golden acorn?"

You notice the heavy ogre tracks and are able to follow them, any traps or creatures having been taken care of by the group ahead of you. Suddenly you come to a stop, as up ahead in a cave you see the group stopped. A heavily armored figure is standing directing a few skeletons toward what looks like a stick floating above the pool. Skeleton after skeleton explode into bone shards and the figure curses. "Still this thing vexes me."
Before the big figure can say anything one of the ogre shrugs and heads out to get the stick. "NO YOU FOOL!" says the armored figure..a little too late. Blood, guts, and skin fly everywhere..something rips the Ogre to pieces..but not a thing is seen.
The mage like person with the ogres has a horrified look on his face. "What happened?"
"I am not sure, but believe the water is enchanted. Anything that enters it dies...and most horridly. While I am quite fond of horrible deaths, I believe this object may be beyond us retrieving...for now."
The mage shrugs. "No worries. All the others besides the crown and acorn have been retrieved. They are safely in Castle Harmoon. I was sent by our Master to retrieve you. However, we may want to stop on the way back to take care of some pests in the caves."
The Golden Acorn
Surprisingly nobody in line protests, and the people at the table do not seem too surprised either. "There is but one way to retrieve the acorn. You must confront it's current holder. In the place where the stars sleep, look for the moons light. Behold the golden splendor, in the stars light."
One of the others scoffs at the person answering. "You and your darn riddles. I will get you started on the right path, but you must figure out the rest. The place the stars sleep is the heavens.." he points a boney figure toward a inn down the street..which is named "Heavens"
Dragontooth mountain.
The dragon nods its head sagely, and bids you farewell. Your traveling companion looks at you and asks. "Now what? Have you some other artifact to seek, or are you to meet the rest of your group somewhere?"

Unsure if it is because your message never got through, or if the people that were to receive them are ignoring them..you wait some time.
Finally one of the druids from far off get ahold of you and let you know that the other items, besides the Acorn and item in the eternal caves have been captured by the enemy, and where they were taken. With your allies missing..it might be time to recruit.

Brooke nods "Yes, but just that it is one of the nicer places to stay. Many of its guests visit my waters." she stops to think. "They did mention that one of the rooms was the Moonlight Honeymoon Suite if that helps."
