Dexter is very keen at getting an ally, but it seems the streets are crowded with montsrers. So a detour is necessary... I fight the Elder thing at French Hill, and after that I move to Silver Twilight lodge to collect the clue and have an encounter there.
I use Wither and Shriveling to combat Elder Thing.
